Rapidshare.com Premium Account problems

Question

Guys,

Can anyone please help??

I have a Rapidshare.com Premium account which ran out on the 30/3/07 - I signed in to my account and clicked on 'extend account' I then clicked on the 'Extend for another 3 months'

All well and good paid for it and awaited an email from them to say that the account had been extended.

An email arrived with the following info:-

From: RapidShare 1-Click Hosting [mailto:webmaster@rapidshare.de]

Sent: 03 April 2007 18:16

To: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Subject: Your RapidShare Login and Password

Hello.

Thank you for your purchase. You can now start downloading files with PREMIUM-privileges. Please make sure you have cookies enabled.

==============================

Login: xxxxxxxxxxx

Password: xxxxxxxx

==============================

This e-mail gives further steps after you have purchased a premium-account.

After you have clicked on a file-link somewhere (forums, guestbooks or directly from a friend), the selection-screen will appear asking you about the download-type. If you don't see it, you might have to scroll down. Its always on the bottom of the page. On the bottom you can find two buttons.

One with "FREE" and the other one with "PREMIUM". Just click on the PREMIUM-button on the bottom of the page. If you have already logged in before, you will see the download-link instantly. If we can't find the premium-cookie on your computer, you will get an error-message telling you that you do not have an account yet. Below that error-message, you can enter your login and password and proceed. We will save a cookie so we will recognize you later.

We recommend to use a download-manager to easily download your files. You can enter your login and password in the http-authentication field, which nearly every download-manager provides.

Common mis-assumptions regarding premium-accounts:

- As stated in our FAQ, there is no search-engine for files because not everybody wants their files to be visible to all people. If you do not know the URL to a file, then its a private file. But even if you have bought this account assuming there is a search-engine, you should not despair. More and more webpages are using our service.

- Premium-accounts only affect downloads. It does not give you the right to upload bigger files than 100 MB. This is because if we would allow this, free-users were unable to download the files at all because of the hour-based traffic-limit. Please make sure that your files are not bigger than 100 MB.

Best regards,

Christian Schmid - RapidShare Hosting

But for some strange reason this email has come from rapidshare.de and has given me a brand new Account ID and password - which only allows me to login in to rapidshare.de and not rapidshare.com - I want to stay with rapidshare.com because I've obtained a number of premium points that I want to keep.

Can anyone tell me why this would have happend and if there is a way to log back in to my rapidshare.com account??

Thanks in advance.

Ewww, RapidShare!!

Their service interface is kinda crappy (and maybe support too :(), but they give me amazing download speeds. :)

Now, if we're looking for a real, huge ass EWW here, I'm just saying FilePlanet. :D
