Ugh, I'm still ****ed about Howard being replaced, Cheadle can't be war machine. No skinny lil punk is going step into that suit, not to mention his voice, Howard was build and played the role great imo, I was looking forward to him stepping into the suit. Cheadle is a good actor and all but this is very wrong casting.

I finally rented it last weekend. But I'm kind of confused about the ending.

Tony Stark announced at the press conference that he was Iron Man. So, I guess Tony Stark doesn't have a secret idenity? Everyone knows he's Ironman?

Wouldn't that make Starks more vulnerable to his enemies?

Entertainment Weekly has an interesting story anylizing why Terrence Howard might have not been cast in Iron Man 2. While insiders cite Howard?s ?difficult behavior? on the set of Iron Man, it might also have a bit to do with money.

Apparently, Howard was the first actor signed on for Iron Man, which somehow made him the highest paid actor on the project, above Jeff Bridges, Gwyneth Paltrow and even? Robert Downey Jr. Pretty crazy, eh? But it was too late to renegotiate after the project fully came together, and EW sources claim that ?Favreau and his producers were ultimately unhappy with Howard?s performance, and spent a lot of time cutting and reshooting his scenes.?

Now onto Iron Man 2? Favs and screenwriter Justin Theroux decided to minimize Jim Rhodes? role in the sequel. This resulted in Marvel going out to Howard?s agents with a ?drasticly reduced offer? estimated to be a 50 to 80 percent cut, but more in line with the supporting cast member?s salary of the first film. One can only guess what happened next, but I?m assuming that Marvel got a cold response and moved quickly on Don Cheadle, and in affect beefed up the Rhodes role in the sequel.

    • I know I won't ever be using it to make my game. I'd rather pay real humans.
    • Nah. For every indie dev that needs to create code for "stuff" or textures, it's a godsend enabler to possibly tackle a project that you may not otherwise. The end result and testing will tell the truth if everything works or doesn't, or a game is just mediocre slop, but now these tools are now there and it's the developer's duty to judge the outcome, and even more so for pro studios. And you gotta remember that they will be at an early stage.
    • whoosh my comment went over your head. Enjoy your notchless 3:2 OLED device
    • As a game dev, today was really depressing. They announced that Blueprints will be deprecated in UE6 to be fully replaced by their sh**ty Python-like Verse language... They also announced that 5.8 will be the last version of UE5 until UE6 comes out in MID 2029!!!! They have completely lost the plot.
