Looks like I spoke too soon.

Something is wrong with my system after having used the VistaGlazz.exe. Now, every time I start Firefox or IE7, the computer hangs for about 30 seconds then starts to load a page. When I open a new tab in either Firefox or IE7, the same thing happens - the system just hangs and the HDD light remains on until the new tab is loaded.

It's not the internet connection because my other computer works fine.

So I undid the patches but the problem persists.

I'm dual booting so I booted to Windows XP and the same things happens in XP too!!!!

I have not made any other changes to my system other than applying the VistaGlazz.exe.

How can applying this screw up Vista and XP. I'm suspicious of VistaGlazz having some virus or something.

Hi spacesurfer. I can garantee that the download of our own Website (CodeGazer.com) or Download.com are virus/malware free. If you got the download somewhere else, please dont use it.

It's strange that both your XP and Vista are having problems. Perhaps a hardware failure?

Firefox themes is what will control that. YOu can download the plugin called Tab Mix Plus move the progress bar into your tabs themselves, and allows for color choices in tabs of the progress bar.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1122

I use download statusbar for download of files, and that part is fully color customizable as well

Windowblinds will also skin the progress bar of firefox, but windows does not itself

Hi,

Thanks for answer. I use the add-ons. Another plugin is Fission which combines address bar and progress bar (Safari style).

https://addons.mozilla.org/ro/firefox/addon/1951

But I use the Forecastfox and the progress bar is green when update the weather or Firefox load a link. I believe that was from Vista (or image from aero.msstyles file).

I'm sorry for bringing this up again. I saw this thread and I desperately want the blue progress bars. I've looked everywhere trying to figure out a way to apply the bars to the visual style I'm using now (Aero 4074 Remix from TuneUp) but I haven't been able to do so. If anyone on here could apply just the blue loading bars to this theme (found here http://www.tune-up.com/services/visualstyl...&os_ver=6.0 ) and upload the fixed theme, I would be all sorts of grateful.

Thanks in advance!

Aero 4074 Remix BPB

It took me a while to realize that I had to delete the other Remix theme, but once I did it worked fine. Thanks so much!

Do you know of any way I could get rid of the beveled look to the progress bars? Also, what program did you use to replace the image files?

I used Restorator 2007 and Photoshop, Check Out My Gallery For More Themes DA

hey guys, I just edited my existing aero theme to add just the blue progress bar, and it worked, but for some reason it changed the blue/greenish bar in explorer, and I didn't do ANYTHING to mess with it. anyone know why it did this? and how to fix it?

    • Yes for me, I installed 'old calculator' (Windows 7 calculator) in its place since it is more useful to me. I think paint is the only one I left installed
