Wow guys, thanks for all the work that went into this! I have a quick question regarding the answer files: I can't seem to get 5.6 to check only the uninstalled modules, if I use an answer file it always checks modules whether they are blue or not. 5.1's answer file a different structure in notepad I've noticed, where there was a + or - and a hierarchy, such as Recommended Updates. 5.6's structure seems to just list every module checked with no hierarchy or +/-. Is there a way to use an answer file in 5.6 but have it NOT check the already installed updates in blue?

I tried the CTRL+I thing but it appears to do the same as CTRL+A.

Thanks!

Aaron

Happy Day!... I got me a brand sprankly new AutoPatcher!!!!

Loaded up the torrents from wise's post... utorrent core and all addons flawlessly (md5's confirmed from blaze's post) and left it running about an hour to help w/ seeding - for others. No problems whatsoever with the torrents and d/l went surprisingly fast (2mb/512 coax here.)

Happy Puppy peed the notebook for joy all over again!!!

I've got four virgin computers w/clean install winxp sp2 and win xp mce 2005, RyanVM builds, a couple in field systems, etc. that will allow for different enviro's for loading/testing AP 5.6 and will probably get to work with it intensively over the weekend. Have a few fires to put out b4 then, but really look forward to playing with the new toys!!!!

Good things come to those that wait and the AP Team is seriously to be commended to not giving in to the temptation to push something out b4 its time. Blaze's post concerning paypal refunds is further evidence that your group operates with a HIGH level of ethics thats rare in this day and age. I have the utmost confidence in the work you do and have found the AP Team's offerings invaluable. Why MS hasn't snatched you up lock stock and barrel (ala sysinternals) and made everyone of you stinking filthy rich is beyond me.... But I'm sure blaze, raptor, gandy, and all the crew have got to be EXTREMELY relieved that this day has come.

Thanks for all the hard work and celebrate hardily.... just don't appoint blaze as the designated driver.

Well thanks for the autopatcher may release.

I've provided a total of 25GB total uploaded throughput to countless people since launch, 90% of which was all the main core. the rest being addons. My share ratio is higher then i've ever seen it lol, (21.xxx).

I'm off until next time. I'll try and make a common occurance every Major release. My ISP doesn't care to much for using that much bandwidth in such a short period of time.

Till next time, see you all later!

    • Wow, imagine you dump hundreds of hours into completing things and unlocking stuff and you lose it all. Back in the day when cheats were built into games, you could at least unlock things again that way without spending hundreds of hours again. But those days are long gone for some reason as no one builds cheats into games anymore. So it's even more painful that studio that's on its 6th installment **** it up so badly.
    • Spotify finally removes the disco ball app icon in the latest update by Ivan Jenic Image: Spotify Spotify has just released an update that removes its now infamous disco ball icon. The update reverts the app icon to the familiar flat green logo after weeks of mixed reactions online. The icon arrived on May 13 as part of the company's 20th anniversary celebration and was always intended to be temporary, though Spotify only confirmed that after the backlash started. The disco ball took the internet by storm, as the reception was split. A vocal group of users called it ugly and disorienting, with some iOS users noting that the 3D glowing effect made the app look like it was stuck mid-update. On the other end, the icon picked up a following of its own. Its retro, three-dimensional look immediately stood out against the flat, minimalist aesthetic that has dominated app design for years. It even started a small movement, spawning what people started calling "discomorphism," a mashup of disco and skeuomorphism. Other brands started posting disco ball versions of their own logos, probably in an effort to ride the wave of memes that flooded the internet during late May. Spotify has had a turbulent relationship with its user base lately. Besides the disco ball icon, which certainly wasn't appreciated by everyone, the company has also received backlash for its willingness to include AI-generated music on its platform. On May 17, Spotify promised the old icon would return “in a few weeks.” And now it looks like that time has finally arrived. So, whether you liked the disco ball or it made you uncomfortable, it’s now gone for good. The next time you update the Spotify app on your phone, the old, flat-design icon will return.
