I remember a year or so ago a similar presentation with multi-touch technology. But I don't think that presentation had wireless data transfers built-in. Definitely a different type of computing... :D

When you put the zune on it, or put the camera on it, both were communicating wirelessly.

^ Microsoft didnt say they invented this technology. I've seen the video you're referring to and others before too. Microsoft is the first to come up with real world applications interacting with it. They will actually launch this product this year in the range of 5k-10k if i remember correctly (couldnt find back the source). Thats very affordable for big companies. The years later there should be variations coming up being more affordable for the average consumer. Who would've thought we are going to get this kind of innovative technology so soon? Credits to Microsoft this time!
