I don't really like Courier or Courier New, so I downloaded ProFont, which is alright, but I'm wondering if anyone would like to share some of their favorite fixed width fonts? Obviously, it'd have to work on OS X.

I like Inconsolata in Mac OS X for editing.

...but you should take a look at the list compiled over at TextMate's website.

Thanks, I went with Inconsolata, it's a very nice font, especially at 10-12 pt.

Monaco I think is one of the best fonts out there for Fixed-width. It's usually the default on many text-editing apps like TextMate and BBedit.

Also, the font that comes with Coda, IIRC it's called Panic Sans, is really nice.

Every time I try to change to another font that isn?t Monaco, I end up coming back to it.

Maybe is because I have been using it since the early Mac OS.

Is Monaco included with OS X? Because every time I try out TextMate, it seems to default to Courier.
