Maybe a dropdown button listing all the artists... Dunno. Was thinking more in the lines of something like this:

See the left pane? Well, something like that. This is my foobar config:

I love the way I can just click on an artist, and the entire playlist changes.

As much as I love the aesthetics of your config, it needs a wee bit more intuitivness.

See the dropdown arrows in my current config? It shows the folder structure. But nothing more. I'd love an option, much like Vista's explorer, to click on the dropdown arrow, and a menu with the entire list of similar items drops down.

So for example, if I clicked on "Blackmore's night" other artists would drop down. Analogly, if I'd click on "Shadow of the moon" all albums by Blackmore's night would drop down. You get my picture ;)

Now that would be mega-sweet.

I like it, but isn't it redundant to place the artist name on the bottom of each track?

May I suggest another feature? Thumbnails beside the artist name on the album list! :)

It looks fine imo :)

My work on new version is temporarily suspended - I'm starting study next Monday so you'll have to be patient as I have other things to do at the moment. I won't be available for several weeks/months. I hope that some advanced f2k users would help others on this thread. Thx in advance.

I like it too. It could be very useful for various artists albums. But, could there be an option to disable it in the config control panel?

Dawxxx could implement the isVarious Track global to determine whether to show the artist name or not.

Great skin and everything. I have one small problem though.

How do I get a picture of an artist instead of "no artist"? I have

tried putting a picture (named after the artist) under the same

location as the albumfolder.

The front and backcover works though and they are in the same

folder as the album.

dawxxx666, thanx for great work & great skin for foobar... I'm forget about winamp 8)

But, there are few things, that don't like me:

1. Your default fonts don't support russian symbols (but this not deadly ;) )

2. I'm can't see egoh spectrum alalyser (few minutes and google help me find needed plugin)... Link this plugin in Plugin requirements

From the man himself. Too bad, I've been waiting forever for a new release. :(

Just a question... When I select something from the album list on the left, I have to right click and "send to playlist" to view the contents.

What do I need to do to make it work like the album list option says: "Always send to playlist: Library View"?

Also, I'd like the albums in the album list pane to be sorted by year, not albumname.

You mean album list pane or library filter instead of album list?

For Library Filter: Preferences->display->PanelsUI then select "Send to playlist ..." from Actions

Edit:

Just click rmb on album list->view->by year

Here's what I'd like to know. On the left pane (library view), how to sort the albums to match the right pane - that is, by year?

Also, is it possible to make the "Artist" filter expanded by default, since I'd like to delete the others.

Finally, how to make the album list (left) not expand all the way to the tracks? Doesn't make much sense to me, since I have those on the right? To put it simple, the farthest it could expand is like in the screenshot.

PS:

Any way to make it play automatically when I send to the playlist?

Example: I set my middle mouse button to send to playlist and activate. Is it possible to configure it to play the first track automatically?

PPS:

Any way to remove the artist picture :p?

    • Exactly. They won't go 100 because current gen consoles are simply too old for any groundbreaking graphics or gaming experience otherwise. They will go with standard (console) price 70 or go with 80 if they really want to go premium. Of course they will have more expensive options too with some useless cosmetics as always.
