Burn Notice - Season One

I saw this show by pure chance, saw a rerun of the pilot at 3AM =D, I instantly fell in love, the show is great!

Yeah I only watched it because of the massive ad campaign on websites I visit and I just love the way that bloke acts when he is investigating :D

Four million people tuned into the series premiere of USA Network's Burn Notice two weeks ago, and they held on to most of those viewers last week.

The Thursday night show has become a hit for USA. Most shows get big numbers for their premieres, because of lots of advertising and curiosity (*cough* Studio 60 *cough*), but don't hold on to them. It looks like fans like viewers like Burn Notice enough to give it another shot.

Besides the big advertising push (you've seen ads here and on a ton of other web sites, and the TV ads have been pretty consistent), USA is smartly using top movies and TV shows to lead into Burn Notice, which is something I've always said all the networks should do. Of course, if this show was on ABC, CBS, NBC, or FOX, it would already be on hiatus.

Good news. I like it so far.

I just caught up with the first 2 episodes and its really good...its weird I thought he was like Max Payne alot and Bruce Cambell is a genius :D

Last nights episode was good. I liked when that chick threw the molotov cocktails at that hit squad. Anyone else think she's borderline crazy? I also enjoy the McGyver moment's.

Oh yea, and he's crazy for not taking that car sooner. Charger's are badass.

the show so far has a great pace, its moving forward and giving entertaining episodes at the same time

Same here. Really unique IMO. Scrubs does narriation, but I think you can really compare the new because Scrub's narriation is just JD's thoughts and Burn Notice's is there to lay out the story for the viewer.

I think thats how other shows crash and burn , IMO

i think its fine doing that, it lets you know its going somewhere. Even though hes barely found out anything.

What I am actually hoping is that this show takes off and they see that people like Jeffery Donovan so they release Touching Evil on DVD.

I haven't heard about it yet over here in the UK...so I would imagine it would be tho its v.popular and thats usually a good pre cursor for it being exported.
