bootable partition magic software


Question

is there any software which could help me to create partition ? i want a bootable CD .

i want to install windows xp .

i want to format my enter had disk using a bootable graphical partition software ......is it possible ?

i have seen Acronis Disk suite , Norton Partion magic ...but they all run from inside windows ...right ?

it would be nice if i have a bootable partition magic software.

It is a graphical partition editor. Not a "linux thingie".

Here's a great idea: Boot your XP CD and create your partitions from there. The ability exists in what you have now. No need to look elsewhere.

yea....tried to do that using XP CD but it failed to partition.

and so ,looking for professional partition software .

It would nicer if i can do it graphically after booting

Why on earth would you avoid an easy to use tool that has full NTFS-resize support just because it's Linux based? You DON'T want something that works after booting, because that is not as reliable (as sectors are in use and have to contend with load from other processes)

GParted is included on SystemRescueCd which also includes some other great tools
