Something tells me this is going to suffer from being overhyped. I'm dying to see it, but I don't think Abrams is going to pull through. Whatever the monster is, it looks an awful lot like godzilla from what we've seen. If its a new age godzilla I'd be far more happy than if he tries to create his own super monster.

Well?It seems that a ?hacker? in the cloverfield game (whether this was intentional or not) has completely changed the old tagruato site to show a man with red horns looking over an ocean. Interesting?

This is not the only Tagruato update?.Remember the old site, well, it had a previous update in the investors section that stated this;

Tagruato is aware that many of you are shocked and angered over the recent article by the Ravaille Research Center. The Slusho! Board of Directors would like to assure you that the article?s claims are completely false and that there is no Seabed?s Nectar available outside their contained factories. of rival companies has forced their silence. Tagruato?s successful evasion of both [gov-]

ernment and private research, however, may be costing a higher price for [consumers]

that they realize. Assuming, despite public disagreement on the subject, that [seabed?s]

Nectar does have the restorative powers that Tagruato claims in their campaigns. [Or-]

ganized research into the ingredient could lead to growth in preventative and [homeo-]

pathic medicine. Their choice to hide what could be a great benefit to the [collective]

knowledge of mankind seems both unethical and disgustingly profit-oriented.

Concerned about the wealth of information lost by Tagruato?s negligent [attitude,]

my department managed to obtain a small sample of Seabed?s Nectar. Our [conclu-]

sions are spotty at best, based on diluted specimens and poor investigative [condi-]

tions. Our findings are too consistent, however, to be discounted completely. [The]

Btw, in Batman Begins, anyone a little curious what happened to all those people who had been affected with the gas? They kinda just left it with them all being insane.

It's one of those things isn't it we always see in films, we are just to think it solved itself out...lol

if you zoom in on the four animals painted on the "hacked" site, there are letters written on them. The crab has "tanner" written on it. There is a variety of crab known as the Tanner Crab. The octopus has "dumbo" written on it....there is also a dumbo octopus. The fish has ogre written on it and you guessed it there is an ogre fish also know as the fangfish. I cant really make out all the letters on the jellyfish. could use some help here. any ideas??

In the new trailer there is a scene where it looks like a girl is being pulled (tug a war style) by two giant rats.

Well depending on what site you visit that woman is either:

A: Being ripped apart literally by two "smaller" versions of the main monster thingie aka The Parasite

or

B: She's infected by this Parasite monster thing and is "giving birth" (by means of being ripped apart heh) to a new Human eating flesh monster thingie.

I can't wait for this movie, it has that look that Hollywood movies have been missing for a LONG time for me. Plus, JJ is a genius in my book, and if anyone can pull off an A++ monster movie with a no name cast it is him. Not to mention that scene where the Army or Marines or whatever (couldn't really tell) are shooting at the giant thingie, looks sick.

there is? I didn't see it. I only saw the 'exploding woman' (a homage to heroes there ;).)

Look at the 1:12 mark or so in the trailer, if that's what you are mentioning. I don't see any "exploding woman" considering she's being ripped apart obviously :p
