Depends when your console was made, with the 3 year warenty now 06 consoles are under warenty till 09 :D.

Yeah but I'm talking about the non-RROD issues which only have 1 year warranty. Seems like a few people have had them here. I'm thinking about getting an extended warranty to cover those.

I haven't tried it, but can't you just put a towel over the 360 and force a RROD? :shiftyninja:

On my 1st, it's froze a few times but apart from that its been ok...but it is only about 5 or 6 months old (Premium).

Also, to whomever asked, no you can't swap the disk tray cover without talking apart :/

I don't know if someone already said this but you can take it off without taking it apart. You just need a flathead.

I'll post a pic in a sec.

ON TOPIC: On my 2nd Xbox 360, it had graphical problems.

I'm on my 3rd. My first one (a launch console) got the RRoD after just 2 weeks, but Microsoft repaired it. Then nearly 8 months later, another RRoD. This time, I got a new console from Microsoft, but that one didn't get the RRoD. Let's just say I got banned from Xbox Live and needed to get another 360, so that's why I'm on my 3rd.

I'm still (sad how I have to say still) on my first 360. It's from December 06, so it hasn't really received an immense amount of use.

hotdog: Your post definitely scares me. I love keeping my systems in the vertical position, and my 360 is currently vert as well.

Trong: I was including the eject button :p (I think it looks bad in your picture :/ )

Well tbh, I think the entire chrome thing looks naff, i'd rather have it like a Core and it all to be white tbh...

It definatly doesn't look good. I do want to all white back but I'd have to have my friend come by and give me back my CD tray cover. :p

But yeah, I'm pretty sure you cant take out the eject button without opening it up.

    • Ideally, the algorithm is smart enough to see the real sender ID and non-spoofed address to block it. Ideally.
