Bioshock demo soon

According to the latest list of age ratings to be published by Germany’s USK board, a Bioshock demo is due for imminent release.

Unsurprisingly, the game hasn’t been cleared for minors, but despite there being no official announcement, with the demo already having been rated, its release shouldn't be too far off.

Indeed, with Bioshock due to be released in all its horrific glory on the 24 August, we wouldn’t be too surprised if the demo popped up in the next couple of weeks, so as to ensure people get a full-on taste of what 2K Games and Irrational will be dishing up shortly after.

We’ll let you know as soon as we have details of what you can expect to find within the demo.

Hopefully the demo will go beyond the first 3 doors like they did with System Shock 2. I was miffed!

Awesome, It'll give me the chance to see if I get this game on PC or x360 as I'm not sure if my PC could quite handle it :D

Got the collectors Edition pre-ordered for both formats, so I'm sorted :p

Just to let people know this news came from a 360 website, so I'm not sure if the demo is coming to PC at the same time? Who knows...

Is anybody buying the Collector's Edition? It comes in the metal tin, with making of DVD and Big Daddy model. I'm a little undecided as I haven't found any special offers yet :/

I thought 2k said there wouldn't be a demo :blink:, I don't know if I'll play it any who. I might just wait for the full game. Also Alot of places don't seem to be stocking the LE edition, Play or Amazon don't seem to have it :s. is it avalible in Europe?

Don't quote me but I'm sure I read a topic over on ShopTo forums and they were discussing stocking it. Or perhaps it was Gameplay :s It was a while ago now but at least it's available on other sites at the end of the day :)

Think I might order the CE from Game and use Reward Points if ShopTo decide not to stock it :yes:

yep, they've said it loads. They wanted to make the best single player game they could, rather than a half assed single and multiplayer game.

The demo will decide if I want to keep my pre-order on this game. Too many good games coming out and I want the ones that will be worth while! :)
