How to uninstall VIA IDE miniport driver?

I installed this driver to my old computer, which motherboard has the VT82C686B southbridge:

...Hoping that it would increase IDE performance (a little), just like they wrote there.

But it did not, it actually slowed it a bit. (Tested with HD Tach)

And now everytime I log in to XP, it also tries to install SCSI/RAID controller (that motherboard doesn't have it), and it fails.

It also appears occasionaly just in front of my eyes. And that's very annoying.

VIA wrote there, that it cannot be uninstalled. But I just can't believe that, thinking that they have been lazy making a uninstall app for the driver, or something like that... I don't know.

The most important for me is now to avoid the SCSI/RAID install window from appearing. It doesn't help if I reinstall it manually, uninstall or rollback the driver in the Device Manager.

Anyone? Any ideas?
