I had the older 5.1 version and just downloaded 5.6 core and wanted to uninstall 5.1 but couldnt see anyway to uninstall it. ive looked in add and remove programmes and nothing there. ive looked in the programmes list and nothing there, its not even showing autopatcher as installed. However it is on my desktop and I run it to make sure I hadnt missed anything off the old one. Can someone plse help as i want to install the new core and then add ons.... Thanks in advance....... patipata
I you used the standard installation procedure Autopatcher 5.1 sits in your harddisk in this folder: c:\programs files\Autopatcher Find it with explorer then delete it. Your uninstallation is done. Don't worry for icons that will remain on your desktop, start menu, etc they will be replaced/updated by installing the new version of Autopatcher. Install core first, then addons, then updates. (hope this is good, if something dont work, delete again and try core, updates, and then addons...) Have a good patching ;) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/578664-uninstalling-older-versions-of-autopatcher/#findComment-588754572 Share on other sites
