is there any way you can put in a function in the weather script, so I can put my own cityname in instead of the one that is comming in from the xml file ?? I ask this, because my city isn't in the listings, but a city really nearby is.

ok i am having a little trouble with my samurize 0.85 script.. my weather updates every half hour and every time it updates, it runs another samurize client.. i dont know why it does this, but it is running on judge's weather script, and i was wondering if anyone else was having this problem? and if anyone knows how to fix it? it is really annoying because i leave my computer on 24/7 and a new icon comes into my sys. tray every 30 mins.. if you dont know what i am talking about you can click the screenshot below and see.... thanks for the help :)

I am having problems with the Neowin news script. I have it all set up and it runs fine initially. But after that the headlines never update. The update time keeps updating every 15 mins. However, if I go into the Samurize config and click Test Script, THEN the script runs and gets the latest headlines. So why would it run if I click Test Script but not on its own even though the update time keeps updating? Anyone? Thanks!

need some help here...

I noticed on Judge's latest post that his fonts are really clear (pixel fonts and normal fonts).

I just switched to using cleartype on my system and my fonts seem really blurry. i just switched from using standard font smoothing....

see image below for an example... my weather script looks really crappy with both pixel and normal fonts with cleartype enabled.

any help???? thanks.

Here's my latest weather script for SS. It uses weather.com so it should work anywhere in the world. The screen shot only shows a small sample of the data that it can access (like it only displays 5 days worth of forecast rather than the full 10, and it doesn't display a whole bunch of data like forecast precipitation chances, UV index, pressure etc. etc.).

There's a readme in the ZIP that will hopefully explain how to install and use it pretty thoroughly.
