Okay. I may have found a trailer, but it could be fake. If it is, it's a damn good one.

It's very well done, I actually want it to be real because it almost depicts a fan's wet dream.  Very good use of footage that I don't remember seeing.

He adds: ?The face is not set from birth. It?s not like he was always going to be one day Peter Capaldi. We know that?s the case because in The War Games he has a choice of faces. So we know it?s not set, so where does he get those faces from? They can?t just be randomly generated because they?ve got lines. They?ve aged. When he turns into Peter he?ll actually have lines on his face. So where did that face come from??

Very interesting info. Be neat to see how it all plays out.

I don't get where a lot of this footage came from.  The Tardis burning and being carried by the helicopter, plus MS saying "Hello again".

Oh man, I'm glad they are gonna have McGann in there someplace. I know alot of people hated the DW movie and don't count it as part of the mythos, but I enjoyed it for what it was, and hell, it had the Master in it! Even though the Master was played by Eric Roberts of all people lol

Also, stuff.

Doctor Who's Matt Smith has reportedly filmed his final scenes as The Doctor, ahead of his on-screen exit at Christmas.

Producer Marcus Wilson - who is also departing - confirmed that filming wrapped on the festive special earlier today (October 5).

He tweeted: "So it's goodnight from me, and it's goodnight from him. That's a wrap. Christmas 2013. Thank you all."

Twelfth Doctor actor Peter Capaldi reportedly visited the set of the special on Thursday (October 3) to film his first scenes in the role.

Smith will appear in two more episodes before departing the long-running BBC series. He will next appear alongside David Tennant and John Hurt in the 50th anniversary special 'The Day of the Doctor'.

Add this to list of people officially not involved in the 50th Anniversary Special: Karen Gillan. In a Radio Times interview, Gillan said:

I?m not in it, just to put that out there. I think I?m going to be in America, so I?ll probably round up all the people who like to watch Doctor Who in the area. We?ll probably watch it and drink PG Tips and eat Jammy Dodgers, if I can get them.

Agreed - I would have liked to see something along the lines of what they did in "journeys end" with Martha, Rose, Donna, Captain Jack, Mickey etc etc....

I think Karen has probably been one of the best companions of the newer era in Dr Who

We all know that the Doctor is getting close to the limit of 12 regenerations (or 13 bodies) established back in 1976's "The Deadly Assassin" ? and we all know the show won't let it end there, as long as there are eager viewers. So it's no surprise that past Doctor Peter Davison says head writer Steven Moffat is already working on a fix for this problem:

I know people are worried about it, but I think there will be a way around that rule. I know that Steven has put in the groundwork already in an episode so that there can be more.

Doctor Who audio drama producers Big Finish have announced three new seasons of Dark Eyes, continuing the adventures of the Eighth Doctor and Molly.

Available to pre-order now, Dark Eyes 2, 3 and 4 will be released over the course of the year from February 2014, and will star Paul McGann as the Doctor and Ruth Bradley as Molly O?Sullivan.

Following on from last year's hugely popular four-episode Dark Eyes boxset, Dark Eyes 2 continues the story with the return of companion Molly O'Sullivan, the ever-malevolent Daleks and a host of other characters new and old, both helping and hindering the Doctor.

Recently voted as the best Eighth Doctor audio adventure by fans of our Facebook page, Dark Eyes tells the story of a Doctor dealing with the loss of his companion, and hunting for new meaning in his life. He finds some solace in the company of Molly O'Sullivan, a voluntary aid detachment First World War nurse, but where will his travels take him next, who will he meet, and what enemies will he be facing?

I figured they would probably just ignore it. I'm glad they are not. Be interested in seeing what they do now.

No one never can really tell... after all .. the Master had more... plus he does have the re generations of  River....  remember "Lets Kill Hitler"  Where he was about to die and she transferred that force to him to save him... now who is to say that he might have a few extra now.

Though I will bet somewhere there is script that probably leads the last regeneration back into the first....you know timey whimey....

    • Here's how to watch Summer Game Fest 2026 and what to expect from the 2-hour showcase by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe The June game showcase schedule is packed, and with the Sony event already behind us, it's time for the next major presentation to come in swinging. Later today, Geoff Keighley will be bringing the 2026 edition of Summer Game Fest live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. For anyone wanting to tune in online, the Summer Game Fest showcase livestream will be kicking off at 2 PM PT | 5 PM ET | 10 PM BST later today, June 5. The jam-packed show is slated to run for about two hours, with platforms like YouTube (4K at 60FPS), Twitch, Facebook, or X being available for catching it. Like in previous years, separate streams featuring American Sign Language and Descriptive Audio are available on YouTube as well. Keighley has only dropped a few teasers about what gaming fans can expect to see at the show. This includes a new look at Star Wars Zero Company from EA, a major announcement from Guild Wars developer ArenaNet, more Clutch gameplay, and some sort of Sega presence. As for fan expectations, there is hype building about a Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 reveal here, and we might see new details about announced games like Alien Isolation 2 as well. If you want even more games, keep in mind that right after the main kickoff event, the Day of the Devs showcase will begin its own festivities at 4 pm PT | 7 pm ET. This is focused entirely on upcoming indie games. Following this, the next major games showcase is slated to happen on June 7. Here, Microsoft is bringing the big guns with its Xbox Games Showcase and Gears of War E-Day Direct. Check out the full calendar for all of the June events over here.
    • AI is destroying jobs like nothing before
    • I think the car analogy is more this: Left hand drive, basic commands on the left side of the infotainment screen. Right hand drive, basic commands on the right side of the infotainment screen. Granted, you're not swapping between the two often so it's doesn't really work. But it's to do with the proximity of you (your mouse, or the driver) to the controls.
    • I mean, the old one was broken and so stupidly complex for many users, so I don't see that as a feasible option. A context menu needs to be simple to use, and for me the Windows 11 style actually worked really well for me, and many others. I used to have to scroll the damn context menu just to get to "file properties" in Windows 10. That was not a good experience, and I'm sure you'd agree. What they're trying to do is make it the best of both worlds, as clearly you'd prefer the Win10 style. I'm curious how they're going to do this.
