What AutoPatcher was trying to do

It appears that the error occured while AutoPatcher was trying to set folder variables through filesystem.

Where: mdlInitialization.Main()

Error Code: 0x8002801D: Automation error

Library not registered.

Long story short:

reformatted PC

discovered Auto Patcher

Auto Patcher works (though was using Win2k3 add ons and updates and cores after being confused by download page)

Didn't read the notifier on .net framework 3 and uninstalled .net framework 2 while using revo uninstaller and scanning after uninstall (which from what I understand, just removes the left over registry files)

Something went wrong, .net framework 2 programs won't uninstall/install correctly, .net framework 2 won't reinstall

Auto Patcher caused error

Used an EruNT file to recover registry

No such luck for .net framework 2 problem, searched the net, didn't find solution for CLR error

AutoPatcher works

Tried another EruNT file

Auto patcher caused error again so just reinstalled core after uninstalling. This time the WinXp one.

Auto patcher worked correctly again. Downloaded July updates and WMP10 May add on.

Tried to install both over autopatcher.

Crash occured again with the same message after trying to install May add on and July updates.

to fix autopatcher

1) install files in C:\Program Files\AutoPatcher\win9xnt

2) copy all files in C:\Program Files\AutoPatcher\bin to C:\WINDOWS\system32

3) for all files copies in step #2 (except reboot.exe), go to start > run, REGSVR32 SCRRUN.DLL (replace SCRRUN.DLL with the name of the current file), click 'ok'

4) reboot

to fix .net, i don't know, you might have to reformat again :/
