From what I know they simply copied the exact scripts over and changed a few things to more "Americanize" it, but other words the episodes are the same as the UK version. :no:

I agree. They should keep it Native to the UK, after all, why not just let the Americans watch it as it is without the need to "Americanize" it...

There's going to be a US Version?! Man that sucks. The only reason I watch IT Crowd is not because the show is that funny but because it's fun to hear the actors talk :D

I would imagine they would have the same premise but not word for word.

I?ve really enjoyed the run. We seem to have turned a corner in terms of the general perception of the show. Someone called us ?overrated? in one newspaper! Hurray!
