Halo 03 |News & General| OFFICIAL

the game feels very smooth but after playing the game for sometime i feel that it was over hyped like anything. I guess that was needed to sell the console so that Xbox360 would get an edge over other consoles.

Quick question: I know there are 8 "missions," but how many levels (read: new titles at the bottom right of the screen) are there?

I'll post my thoughts after I've beat the game, which may be a while due to track and exams.

umm, there isn't anymore levels then 10, if that. there may only be 8 to tell you the truth..

it was just like halo 2, you go down into the cave, set something, and run all the way back up the way you came.. thats 1 mission.

Sorry, I meant 9:

And I'm not sure what you call them, but there are parts to each mission. There are labels on the bottom right that break up segments... that's what I meant. How many are in each mission?

Like checkpoints?

Depends on the mission. I'm too tired to check right now, but I'd guess it's between two and four. And some are shorter than others. They're called "insertion points" or something.

Halo 3's levels overall are small compared to the past two games. Not all of them, but quite a few. They're "padded" by having this repeated backtracking, up to four times through a level.

It was an excellent game, I thought, but the first half is a nonstop rockathon and the second is pretty standard Halo fare.

I got lucky with the whole Limited Edition being scratched thing, my game disc was perfectly fine (did not fall out of the slot) but the Essentials bonus DVD was a bit scratched but played just fine.

I think I'm gonna hop on multiplayer for a bit now, or maybe co-op. If anyone wants to co-op, send me an invite/FR!

i preordered the game in the uk from GAME and gotit a day early, but ive heard that people who got the game early got banned, will i have to wait till tomorrow to play it here, or shall i risk going on today?

Don't worry, you won't get banned. That was a rumor.

    • draw.io Desktop 30.2.6 by Razvan Serea draw.io desktop is a downloadable security-first diagramming application that runs on Windows, MacOS and Linux. Creating diagrams in the desktop app doesn’t need an internet connection. This is useful when you are disconnected or when you must create diagrams in a highly secure environment, where data protection is of the utmost importance. When you use the draw.io desktop app, your diagrams will be stored on your local device. Because this is a stand-alone application, also designed to run offline, there are no interfaces to cloud storage platforms available. Of course, you can still store your diagrams in folders that are synchronised to your cloud storage if you wish. Easy-to-use diagram editor The draw.io apps work just like the office and drawing tools you are used to using. Drag and drop shapes from the shape libraries and drag to draw connectors between them. Drag connectors to add waypoints and set a precise shape and position, or let them reroute automatically. Double click and start typing to add a label to anything. Create tables and swimlane flows with a familiar tool. Style shapes and connectors with customisable palettes, sketch options, fonts and text formatting tools. Search for shapes, including in open-source icon libraries. Use our vast libraries of shapes and templates, organised into logical categories, to create a range of diagrams and infographics. Generate diagrams from text descriptions using our smart templates.
