Halo 03 |News & General| OFFICIAL

thats where I'm up to. Man I hated the part leading up to that lol.

spoilers tags people!!!!!

and yeah i just finished it, awesome ending:) and the final level was great, and the second to last level sucked.

SPOILERS COMING!

the one where you are going up the citadel, i agree with IGN on that one. But the game is awesome, for a while i thought cheifie was dead but it made no sense but of course you have to wait until the end of the credits to see what actually happens. I am glad there is hope for more :)

There is no info on when its gonna be released for PC. Year, two, nobody knows. MS is not gonna publish a console mover game to PC soon. Just like Halo 2 took two years to come to PC, Halo 3 might take as long.

Your best bet is a 360 and the game is totally worth the money.

i agree that an xbox is worth this game

I never got a chance to post this since I just got into playing, but my NORMAL edition was scratched.

I put in the disk, Got Disk Unreadable error.

Wiped it off, intro starts and the music is skipping like mad. Menu music is also skipping.

I get out my fiber optic cloth, wipe it really good, noticed it is scratched like mad.

Turns out that little security device never stuck, and the disk itself got loose, so they were playing footsie's with each-other.

I finally got it to work no issues, but I am returning it this weekend for a replacement, as that is unacceptable.

This is in response to this news about MS offering Disk Replacements.

Bunch of threads merged again as well.

I had a great time last night on Halo3 :D it was awesome. My friends spent a lot of time fooling around :| (as in we beat the first mission 4 player online co-op and then in the second mission they just were making humping motions to everyone in the control room :|) never got around to beating the story when ever I'd go to do it myself I'd get a bunch of invites, and everyone wanted to play online not co-op. We had way to many friends on and our party was to big for ranked matches so it kind of sucked that I did not get that far but tonight I'll finish the story on heroic, maybe legendary on co-op if I can find someone who wants to.

Edit: If anyone wants to play Co-Op on Legendary tonight let me know

Damn, Microsoft must be loosing millions on all these failures, I mean how hard can it be to make a case where the disk stays in place.

I hope my one isn't scratched, I ordered the normal edition, and if I had my way it would be flown in by stealth bombers and guarded by Jack Bauer. But Charlie the Postman will probably drop it and go over it on his bicycle a couple of times, before snapping it in half to get it through the letter box.

what time zone are you in? and what time do you plan to play?

I'm in Central. I'll be on tonight at 4:30PM Central with a short break for dinner in there until 8:30PM I got to go pick up my girl and she will probably come over for a bit. 11:30PM Central I'll be back online at the latest, then I'll be on till at least 2AM

Millions? Their replacement plan gives you a disc only, not a new case. Last time I checked, discs cost next to nothing to produce.

I am loving this game ! Only letdown so far is the music. It's pretty much Halo2 recycle.

Anybody tried capturing screenshots ? I did a few and don't seem to find them anywhere on my bungie.net account! (It did say uploading to bungie.net when I saved ea of them)

During campaign replay, I couldn't figure out a way to rewind! Is it even possible ?

    • Simple answer is yes, you will still get the Windows updates and as long as browser is up to date, you will be good. Only thing secure boot does is protect you against boot level threats and make it harder to install other OS's. I've been looking into this pretty thoroughly lately myself as wifes computer has secure boot disabled plus my other, older computers that run Linux, don't have secure boot enabled. Have seen all kinds of questions about this on the Linux Mint and MX Linux forums. Just don't suddenly enable secure boot now.
