tom598652364
Hello all I looked on the forums for this topic. Did not really find it (just info on modules). I have lots of versions of windows XP installed on many partitions/pc's. I used autopatcher for the first time and spent like an hour looking at each microsoft update/patch etc to decide if I needed it or not and in the end installed a fairly customized list (for example IE, messenger, WMP are disabled and locked down on my PC's - so I skipped all of those updates). Can I now somehow COPY, SAVE AS MODULE, etc the list of the updates/patches that I opted for so I can then give this file to autopatcher for patching a fresh install on another machine so that autopatcher knows what I want and I do not have to reclick all the options. thanks Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/583864-export-autopatcher-prefs-ie-choices-as-module-etc/ Share on other sites
supermouse
pretty easy. just run AP. select the modules that you wanna install. at AP main screen, click at the button "advanced" and "save selection". place that file that you are saving in the same folder that ap is and run ap from there or copy that folder to a shared/cd/dvd, etc. when you run ap from that location, ap will ask if you wanna load that selection. choose yes ;) []s Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/583864-export-autopatcher-prefs-ie-choices-as-module-etc/#findComment-588808687 Share on other sites
+theblazingangel MVC Posted August 27, 2007 MVC Share Posted August 27, 2007 i'd recommend patching those applications anyway, just to be on the safe side! what if another application you use hooked onto an insecure dll from IE or something...
