Quad Master
Hi Guys Finally i was able to access my internet in linux. I knew that my ISP uses raspppoe for connecting. So i opened synaptic and searched and i found out that pppoeconf was already a installed package. So i opened a terminal and typed "sudo pppoeconf" and this is how it progressed. ================================================= Guide ================================================= Key in ur password for current linux login It lists the devices it finds Looks for Access Concentrator Click Yes Click Yes Enter ur Isp Login & Password. Click Yes Click Yes Click OK Now the net is connected and you can access the net by firing up ur browser [Firefox] To check your account status type "plog" Enjoy :) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/584398-guide-to-setting-up-your-pppoe-based-isp-in-linux/ Share on other sites
