Autopatcher Update and Autopatcher Core

Hello! I'm new here. I don't know if I'm posting in the right section, but anyways I hope someone can help me with this...

I just downloaded Autopatcher (for WinXP) yesterday and noticed that there are two files:

AutoPatcher_WinXP_Aug07_x86_ENU_Core

AutoPatcher_WinXP_Aug07_x86_ENU_Update

I tried installing and running both patchers, but I don't see any difference. One problem, though, is that it stops at some point, and won't download any more updates. I tried System Restore to undo the changes, but there were no restore points. It seemed as if the restoration points were reset, I dunno...

So, uh... What's the difference between these two? And since I've already run both patchers, is there a way that I can somehow undo or overwrite the previous installations? My system has changed a lot, but I just don't feel right about it...

Didn't they stop support for that (maybe just neowin can't support it?) I never used it but thought I'd mention that.
