Chris

Where Can we send requests?

Nowhere, I am developing plus is private and as I said before neowin wont get any updates untill it's finished, I'm sick of the immaturity here. Especially from people like the post above. :)

ummm... it wasnt meant for u... and i was actually agreeing to that post..

well I'm sorry phrozted, I tend to blow up alot lately. Stress can do that to a person. :)

I'm just sick of all my watercolor threads turning into flame wars. :)

Chris

Hey Binary, when's the next update for both Watercolors coming out? Anymore colour schemes and such?

working on a black variation (a good looking one, not just some hue shift) :)

Maybe a red one, we'll see how it goes.

Chris

I'd like to apologize to binary for posting my mod. I hadn't posted here in a while and didn't know you were against it. And for all those who keep PMing me about the pic I posted....stop please. Great work Binary .

Dont get me wrong, I like your mod. It's just that if I gave permission to you (and a few others who's mods I liked), then I'd have to give permission to everyone, which would be a mess. I hope you understand :(

I have offered everyone a chance before to work with me to create watercolor 'plus' but the jerks on this board screwed it up. Then I also made an offer to any 'mature' people who wish to work with me in private to email me. I havent even had a chance to contact the ones who did email me because I have been occupied with a full time job. I work hard for 8 hrs and when I come home the last thing I want to do is start bitching in a thread. Believe me, I want to relax and watch tv. :) So the weekends is the only time i have to really get any work done on my themes, and thats hard when I also have a private life to take care of.

I hope you guys understand I'm not trying to be an ass. I just dont want any john doe posting mods of my theme.

Chris

Binary's Watercolor Lite v1.0 looks really good. I like it.

Good work once again Binary.

As a side note. Someone was also kind enough to upload a few bitmaps you can use to mod watercolor lite for yourself, and clean the theme up a bit more.

You can grab them from here.

Check page 96 of the January desktops thread for an updated zip file, original one has a fugly start button.

Yes.

In settings.ini , I've changed it to

<!ENTITY iniWindowTitleBackColor-red	'115'>
<!ENTITY iniWindowTitleBackColor-green	'152'>
<!ENTITY iniWindowTitleBackColor-blue	'205'>

<!ENTITY iniWindowTitleForeColor-red	'255'>
<!ENTITY iniWindowTitleForeColor-green	'255'>
<!ENTITY iniWindowTitleForeColor-blue	'255'>

Also, I've been searching for matching boot screens and logon screens, could someone point me in the right direction ?

btw, Thanks Binary. I appreciate your never-ending efforts.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
    • CPPC states can also be messed around with in most UEFI settings but aren't as robust as the ones that the Windows Scheduler can provide! Make sure you look into what your motherboard also has before customizing for the Windows Scheduler.
