It's gotta be Bioshock single player, Halo multiplayer.

I haven't played Halo 3 single player but it surely can't touch Bioshocks unique underwater city, story and voice acting/characters. Not to mention Big daddies/Little sisters just kick ass!

I'm open to pe proven wrong, but I don't think I can be convinced.

Both are great games. I've been a Halo fan since shortly after the first one came out and the story is fantastic. But in the end, it's just a run and gun game when it comes to single player (which isn't a bad thing - that's actually part of the reason I love it so much). Bioshock is something different and, having been built ground up as a single player game, I think the devs did just an astounding job making probably one of the best SP experiences ever, and for that reason, despite the fact that I like Halo as a franchise a whole lot more (I've had way too much fun with it not too), I have to pick Bioshock for SP.

Everyone saying Halo wins for MP, I have one work for you: "duh" :p As Bioshock doesn't have MP, it really can't compare...

I just wasn't all that impressed with Bioshock. I can't really put my finger on what bothered me, but I know I breathed a sigh of relief when I finally finished it. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. Halo 3 for me!

Very well said.

I think the point that Bioshock was built as a new IP is not one to be taken likely.

i beat Bioshock and Halo 3 both on the hardest difficulty and i can say basically for a fact that bioshock single player is better. There is just simply WAY more content, WAY more to do, and its free-roam!! many different ways to do things (non-linear)....

Halo 3 is just straight action linear game play to get your achievements and then its off to online. fun, but not near as satisfying as bioshock

anybody who says different is just a halo fanboy

I think Irrational Games / 2K Games have done really well and this poll shows just that.

Who expected that Microsoft/Bungie would get such stiff competition from Irrational Games -> 2K Games.

One of the great things about Bioshock is that it's just the first episode and more to come while for Halo this is the end of the line.

Bioshock is so much better, Halo 3 might as well be Halo 2 with better GFX, no innovation.

Halo 3 not innovative? Have you even played it?? Have you seen the replay feature, where you can re-watch your entire campaign, or any multiplayer match you've played, pause it anytime you want, and move around the level in free roam, moving it frame by frame from any perspective you want? Take screenshots of the frame, upload it all to the internet, share it with friends etc. I'd call that pretty damn innovative for the Halo series, and for console games in general.

Anyway, i voted Bioshock, as it have me the best SP experience Ive ever had
