How do you like that desk.. I just bought it from IKEA..

That is the desk from ikea. I like it a lot. A lot of space and it's really nice.

Most of my room is from Ikea, the shelves, desk, dresser.

Doesn't looking up all the time hurt your neck? :o

Like I quoted below and said before, it isn't that high in person.

See a few posts back. It isn't that high in reality and he's fine with it. We should all be.

Like I said up top, and thanks.

Alright so I got another screen (Acer X223BW, on the left) to go into my new ghetto apartment. I haven't finished setting everything up yet... still need to install the Q6600 and another radiator first.

Taken with Samsung D900. I guess I also need to get a hold of a proper camera.

^^ Very coo mate! Congrats on the new place and your setup looks nice! Btw, is that your huge printer on the floor? :p

Yeah, that's my Dell Color Laser Printer. :) I need to find a USB cable to hook it up (was networked before, but can't do that now due to location), but will not spend $30 that Best Buy wants.

That looks pretty nice. Good lighting, too. Although I think it would look even better if you did some serious cable management.

Yeah, I am going to pick up some stuff to tie it all together and perhaps put it in some cable mesh.

Nice and clean, but...where do your legs go? Over the bars and into the wires? I'd switch the iMac and dell and put the printer under the laptop. That is, unless that setup is more comfortable than it looks.

I'm currently trying to see what works best for me, but the current setup isn't that bad. It's decently comfortable and gives me a good view of the window and outside. If I put the iMac where the Dell monitor is, then I lose that. If I put it over where the laptop is, it sits up too high. I'm still playing with ideas, so we'll see.

    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • I have disabled it, but the app is still taking space. I have a Mac and it is only possible to disable Ai on that, but I think that bit does get rid of the AI components after a while. What we are told is that we agree to all this when we use the devices as it is in the end user agreements, their software, they can do what they like. I doubt that any bill will happen in the U.S, the government there are in league with big tech firms. The E.U maybe, they seem to have some guts when it comes to tech companies. The U.K is not in the E.U, but some things still affect us. Our government is as gutless when it comes to tech companies as the U.s government.
