Thanks for posting, but I'm looking for Rock Band 2 (not the original)

Sorry I completely over looked that. Stupid art work is too similar for both games and I just had a quick glance.

@ Rob, CD WOW still works for me here.

OT: I just seen they have the complete collection of Battlefield 2 on PC for like ?11:// I really shouldn't spend any more money. I just bought 2 iPods (touch & classic), Quake Wars ET, a new microphone and Resistance 2 over the weekend:cry::

Naughty! But who doesn't love a bit of retail theorpy! I mean I randomly bought a new 46" Samsung the other day! :p

You can even see the black elite controller in the pics [RIP black controller] lol

What size ipods did you get? I have a 8gb touch [1st Gen] and a 160gb Classic and a 1gb Shuffle [2nd Gen]

I love Sammy's  The only thing I'm not keen on is the two tone red & black scheme they have just now. It's the same with their laptop range. Looks awesome though dude (Y) I still can't believe you broke that controller in your hands lol, wtf.

I bought the 2nd gen 32GB touch and 120GB Classic. Touch is for me, Classic is for my mum's xmas.

Edit: also, JD poster, a man after my own heart (Y)

He could have bought the HD DVD at launch (Nov. 2006) and the PS3 wasn't out til March 2007. How was he supposed to know which would win? Best of both worlds (Y) There is plenty of cheap HD DVD's out in shops too for like ?3 in Gamestation.

Plus I love spending money on redundant technology! *jokes*

But it is rather irritating that HD DVD lost when i invested in it, but oh well when you take a gamble like that with 50/50 odds it does kinda suck when you lose. Still as Andy pointed out there is plenty of HD DVD bargains; most of which are gone by now, but I did buy some and they do look great. But no more HD DVDs for me now only Blu-rays [most of which are way too expensive atm, I don't really see why they shouldn't come out at about ?10 a piece but then that is the same with all things that use optical media they are overpriced]

But on a Serious note:

Actually looks like they are no longer instock, dunno then sorry! Too busy at work for once to have a proper look for you now, I just fancied a five minute break from the boring crap that is my job!

For anyone with (pre)orders with Zavvi, read this:

Zavvi halts game/DVD/music sales

News by Rob Purchese

Retailer Zavvi has had to cancel all videogame, film and music orders as supplier Entertainment UK falls into administration.

Only books, calendars and "a limited range of other products" will remain on sale for the time being, according to the Zavvi website.

Customers with existing orders for these suspended products will find out by email if their delivery cannot be fulfilled, and, if so, receive a full refund.

"We have not taken this decision lightly, but we believe that this is the right course of action under the circumstances," read a statement.

"We apologise for any inconvenience. Please be assure that we are doing all we can to resolve the situation as quickly as possible."

Naturally, Zavvi high street outlets with stock will be largely unaffected, although new releases, such as Resistance 2, are absent - as GamesIndustry.biz found out yesterday whilst snooping around like Columbo.

Entertainment UK also supplied WH Smith, which now has the same supply problems. Other retailers such as GAME, Gamestop and HMV are unaffected.

Well it's only temporary really, I can't imagine Zavvi not having a supplier for too long, they just need to go get a decent deal elsewhere.

    • TeraCopy 4.0 Build 28 by Razvan Serea TeraCopy is a compact program designed to copy and move files at the maximum possible speed, also providing you with a lot of features. Copy files faster. TeraCopy uses dynamically adjusted buffers to reduce seek times. Asynchronous copy speeds up file transfer between two physical hard drives. Pause and resume transfers. Pause copy process at any time to free up system resources and continue with a single click. Error recovery. In case of copy error, TeraCopy will try several times and in the worse case just skips the file, not terminating the entire transfer. Interactive file list. TeraCopy shows failed file transfers and lets you fix the problem and recopy only problem files. Shell integration. TeraCopy can completely replace Explorer copy and move functions, allowing you work with files as usual. TeraCopy is free for non-commercial use only. For commercial use you need to buy a license. The paid version of the program includes the following features: Copy/move to your favorite folders. Save reports as HTML and CSV files. Select files with the same extension/folder. Remove the selected files from the copy queue. Features added since version 3.17: Enhanced speed graph. New multi-threaded copy engine. Support for copying to multiple targets. Queue system for managing multiple copy operations. Support for receiving files via the LocalSend protocol. TeraCopy entry in the modern Windows Explorer context menu. Integrated toolbar in the title bar. Why receive LocalSend transfers with TeraCopy? Handle file conflicts: Skip, overwrite, or rename files when a file with the same name already exists. LocalSend always creates another copy, which can waste time and disk space, especially when resuming an interrupted transfer. Filter unwanted files: Apply ignore lists or remove files manually before accepting a transfer, so unnecessary files are not downloaded. Better performance on fast networks: In tests over a 10 Gbps connection, TeraCopy received files several times faster than the standard LocalSend app on Windows. TeraCopy 4.0 Build 28 changelog: Fixed a bug where Overwrite behaved as Overwrite All during same-drive move operations. AdvancedInstaller fixed the installer’s security vulnerability: EXE Bootstrapper resolved the %appdata% location incorrectly for the System account. • New AMD graphics driver fixes install issues and FSR 4.1 crashes on RX 7000 GPUs by Taras Buria AMD is rolling out yet another graphics driver. Version 26.6.4 is now available for download, bringing two important fixes. One is for those still using Windows 10 and having trouble installing driver 26.6.2. In fact, this patch is coming from the recently released hotfix, so it is not new if you are already running version 26.6.3. The second fix is for RX 7000 owners. AMD recently brought FSR 4.1 support to the previous-gen graphics cards, but there was a bug with certain games crashing when using FSR 4.1. I experienced this issue with Forza Horizon 6, so today's driver should take care of that. Here is the official changelog: Intermittent install issue seen when installing AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.6.2 on Windows® 10 systems for Radeon™ RX 7000 series and above graphics products. Intermittent application crash may be observed in some games with AMD FSR Upscaling 4.1 enabled on Radeon™ RX 7000 series graphics products. Known issues include the following: Intermittent application crash or driver timeout may be observed while playing Battlefield™ 6 on AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. AMD is actively working on a resolution with the developer to be released as soon as possible. Texture flickering or corruption may appear while playing Battlefield™ 6 with AMD Record and Stream on some AMD graphics products. AMD FSR Upscaling and AMD FSR Frame Generation may show as inactive in AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition while playing Battlefield™ 6 when enabled on Radeon™ RX 9000 series graphics products. Failure to install may be observed while installing AI Bundle components in some regions with limited access to HuggingFace and GitHub. Model flickering or rendering failure may be observed in Maxon Cinema 4D and Blender on Radeon™ RX 7000 series and above graphics products. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to install AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.3.1. Intermittent application crash may be observed on some models while running Blender on Radeon™ RX 7000 series and above graphics products. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to install AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.3.1. You can download the AMD Radeon driver 26.6.4 from the official website here. • Amazon may use OpenAI and Nova models after Anthropic reportedly raises costs by Karthik Mudaliar Amazon is reportedly considering to use OpenAI models and even its own Nova family of AI models after Anthropic raised the cost of using Claude inside Amazon services. According to a report from The Information, Amazon is weighing its options to reduce costs under a new arrangement with Anthropic. But back in April, Amazon said it would invest $5 billion more in Anthropic, with the possibility of adding up to another $20 billion if certain commercial milestones are met. That investment actually came on top of another $8 billion Amazon had already put into the Claude maker. Anthropic, meanwhile, committed to spend more than $100 billion over 10 years on AWS technologies, including Amazon’s Trainium chips. Amazon isn't just a customer of Anthropic but also one of the most important backers and cloud partners. This is why it makes it interesting that Amazon is considering other alternatives to handle its internal workloads. Although Amazon has been building its own options for a while now. Its Nova family of AI models was announced in late 2024 for Amazon Bedrock, with models aimed at text, image, and video tasks. Amazon pitched the model around cost and latency at that time. With that said, OpenAI has also become a more realistic option recently for AWS customers as well as for Amazon itself. Earlier this year, OpenAI brought its latest models and Codex coding agent to Amazon Bedrock, after changes to its previously more restrictive Microsoft cloud arrangement. This allowed AWS to serve even those customers who wanted other alternatives from Claude, without having to move workloads out of Amazon's cloud. Evaluating alternatives could also be due to commercial pressure and not necessarily a sign of a damaged partnership between Amazon and Anthropic. Whether or not Amazon is actually considering switching entirely to OpenAI's models or its own Nova models remains unknown at this moment.
