Can you return Guitar Hero 3 with the guitar or not?

errrr

Are you asking whether you can buy the GH3 with Guitar and then return it without the Guitar?

If so then no, you bought GH3 with the Guitar and have to return the Guitar as well.

You can however stick a still sealed copy of GH3 up on eBay - having looked at completed listings it tends to go for ?15-?20 still. That means a brand new wireless guitar will only set you back ?15-?20.. bargain!

No I was asking if they would actually take the guitar back and how much would you get for it just incase I seriously don't like the game ( not really a fan of music games but everyone raves about this one ). Also what is this "solus"?

Solus is the game without the instrument (For those who already have one).
solus just means the game without any of the addons, such as a guitar, microphone, camera, dance mat etc.

(Y) Yep, ?33 is awesome btw. As Kick mentioned, it's pretty hard to find it less than ?38.

Sadly I went into every HMV shop in town today, andt he cheapest I could get GHIII was ?59.99 which was actually in HMV Liverpool One. Can anyone confirm that it was available for ?35 in said shops (ie HMV)? They wil not accept it and argue that unless i can prove it was the mentioned price elsewhere they will not honour i:(:(

Then why would you only return the game and not the guitar with it ?

I'm not entirely sure anymore  I thought he meant to return it and ask for a refund?

You can by all means trade in GH2/3/4 for money without the guitar, there's no problem with that iirc. It might be harder for them to sell on without the guitar though.

Got mine from Speke for ?;) ;)

However I was in HMV in Speke last week and they only had PS3 and PS2 versions out on the shop floor, might be best calling ahead.

It does say not for resale on the non solus game boxes. So I doubt that the bigger game shops would technically take it. You know what smaller shops are like though ;)

sadly bouncy cats will not prove my point. can you confirm or deny the pricing structure Kushan? :p

Sadly not, I've only got access to the same HMV's =P

Did you try the one on Bold Street to see if it was any different?

What's the cheapest I could currently get the 360 for? I presume it makes a lot more sense to go for the Pro?

Well Woolworths was the best place, for ?79 after the 30% discounts. I think all the Woolworths have now shut though? If not, it'd be slim chances still finding one.

Next best is Zavvi, again they will have stock problems most likely.

Otherwise you are looking at ?120+ for Arcade bundles. Amazon are selling the Arcade for ?125 just now.

EdiShopto have them for ?107 but stock is due in

Hmm. I'll try the Woolworths near my college, Zavvi if not.

I have ?140 to get me through the month, and that includes lunches etc.

There's a slight chance I'll wait until I get next month's money so I can actually live, too. Probably ought to've thought that through first... ><

Thanks for the i:)os :)

    • Sorry I mean your back rest on your Herman, can you move the back say 2cm then lock it? Then realise 2cm isn’t enough and you want an extra 1cm then lock it into that position? Basically like in an older car seat, you turn the knob round until you get the back recline precisely where you want it, this is what I found the Herman wouldn’t do
    • WTF? I am not taking a video of myself to access a site or to create an account. What are they thinking? I don’t even have a webcam on my main desktop PC. The powers to be are really looking to normalize the taking of pics or submitting ID for everything. I afraid most people will end up just going along with it.
