Wireless Entertainment Pack (Wireless Controller, Kung Fu Panda and Lego: Indiana Jones) ?19.99 @ John Lewis

Nice one:))

It shouldn't matter too much if it's wireless or not, seeing as the official 360 wheel isn't wireless either, technically. You have to have it plugged into the mains if you want force feedback to work. Also there's a wire connecting the pedals to the wheel, so it's not wireless. :p

But seriously, I wouldn't bother with it. I managed to find it second-hand in the local classifieds for just ?40 so I snapped it up, and I hated it, so I put it in the classifieds a week later and managed to sell it for ?60!:D:D

I stumbled across this earlier whilst searching for the best price for MS points:

2100 MS Points Card

It's the best I could find so I figured I'd share. I'm not sure about Quidco (I know some of you peeps have mentioned you use that) but I use TopCashBack and you get 4% back from there.

Just bought some of these the other day and considered putting them on HUKD, but I though it was the status quo for points now. Missed out on gettin' me some rep!

TheGameCollection has Burnout Paradise and Trivial Pursuit (Weird double pack if you ask me) delivered for ?14.95

Hi I was wondering if people could have a look around for Prototype. Lowest I found preorder is Game for ?33.24.

Well that is cheaper than it is now, currently ?34.99

Cheapest is Shopto.net for ?34.85, so I guess you found the cheapest if you can buy it for that.

If anyone has an ASDA close-by they might want to have a quick look, I picked up Fallout 3, Saints Row 2 & Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts for ?5.99 each. It's not in every store but they were that price in both the Plymouth store, and Falmouth (Cornwall) though.

Also, does anyone know the best price for a 360 Arcade at the moment? I have a space 60gb HDD, but the arcade seems to be out of stock (or extremely overpriced) everywhere... is it being discontinued?

Did they have much stock in the Plymouth branch, might be worth me popping out.

    • Linux 7.2's first release candidate gets off to a good start by Paul Hill Credit: Larry Ewing It has been a few weeks since the release of Linux 7.1, and in that time, the Linux 7.2 merge window has been open, where developers can submit their features and patches ready for the upcoming release. That window is now shut, and the release candidate phase has begun so that new features can be tested and further fixes applied. According to the founder of Linux, Linus Torvalds, this week’s release candidate looks “reasonably normal”. Although we are super early in the release candidates, this is a good sign as it makes it more likely that an eighth release candidate will not be needed. Torvalds even mentioned that the update’s stats are only larger than they really are because there was another AMD header drop with a third of the patch just being AMD GPU register definitions, which aren’t big changes but make the code contributed look larger overall. In addition to this, he noted that just over half the patch is drivers, even when excluding the AMD register dump. The rest of the changes are spread out over architecture updates, tooling, documentation, and core kernel updates. In the next week, Torvalds says that he will be chilling out, taking the week “mostly off”. Despite this, he will be reading emails and keeping up with things, so if he is slow responding, now you know why. He said he is hoping for a calm week, but we will just have to see if the second release candidate is actually like that. We should expect seven or eight release candidates before Linux 7.2 is released, so expect it around the end of August. If you missed it a few weeks ago, be sure to check out our coverage of Linux 7.1's release.
