You can get this:

Amazon - Forza 3 Live Subscription 13 Months ?29.99

if you're willing to wait until next Friday and don't want to buy just an electronic code (not that the box adds anything :pp ).

might.. just... have.. to... get..

Meant to be saving money when I get paid.. oh joy.

Heh I'm pretty peed off right now - ordered it from a Powerseller with > 20,000 positive feedback. It was labelled with "Instant Delivery", yet 48 hours later I have no code and the seller isn't responding.

Ah the joys of eBay.

Happened to me on Playtrade, emailed him yet? Usually they're like ''oh shi- must have got caught up with other orders''

heh.

Well I guess if you got it cheaper than 26.99 then it's worth it. I used instantlivecodes and their service was great

Agreed. I highly recommend them as well. I got the code in less than an hour, but only because I didn't realise I had to send an email to them confirming the order after buying it! :p

I just found this site...

www.frog-games.co.uk

It's a UK site and is very, very cheap (FIFA 10 ?26.99!). I've looked at some reviews and it has only been set up recently, but I have seen 1 person who has received a game from there. It uses PayPal too, so you're covered with them.

Just getting the work out there. ^^

Hmm, not bad prices! Almost no games on there, but a few good ones. I'm very tempted to pick up Skate 2, as it's going for a tenner!

They also do DiRT 2 for ?25.99, and Halo 3: ODST for ?26.99.

any good deals on forza?

If you've got DiRT2 or NFS Shift, yes! :) I saw in HMV this morning, if you trade in either one of those two, you get ?25 off Forza 3, so you get it for just ?15! I'm doing that on Friday when I'm signing on!:D:D

Anyone aware of a decent deal for L4D2? I stupidly never got round to pre-ordering it from Argos when it was on offer there a couple of months back.

?36.98 at Games Basement

Only did a quick search, someone else could probably find cheaper. I don't know if you use cashback sites either.

For those interested - I managed to track down a copy of L4D2 for ?34.73 over at The Hut. You have to use the "HWALK" code to get ?3 off.

EDIT: Cheers .KICK - I never refreshed the forum before posting so hadn't seen your post.

Also, I've just seen this ?5 off code for GAME - BTY09. The conditions are that it's orders over ?50 and in stock items (no pre-orders) only.

    • Could you come up with a slightly less depressing background for Tux instead of that gray gradient? Doesn't have to be cheerful, just less of a downer...
    • Linux 7.2's first release candidate gets off to a good start by Paul Hill Credit: Larry Ewing It has been a few weeks since the release of Linux 7.1, and in that time, the Linux 7.2 merge window has been open, where developers can submit their features and patches ready for the upcoming release. That window is now shut, and the release candidate phase has begun so that new features can be tested and further fixes applied. According to the founder of Linux, Linus Torvalds, this week’s release candidate looks “reasonably normal”. Although we are super early in the release candidates, this is a good sign as it makes it more likely that an eighth release candidate will not be needed. Torvalds even mentioned that the update’s stats are only larger than they really are because there was another AMD header drop with a third of the patch just being AMD GPU register definitions, which aren’t big changes but make the code contributed look larger overall. In addition to this, he noted that just over half the patch is drivers, even when excluding the AMD register dump. The rest of the changes are spread out over architecture updates, tooling, documentation, and core kernel updates. In the next week, Torvalds says that he will be chilling out, taking the week “mostly off”. Despite this, he will be reading emails and keeping up with things, so if he is slow responding, now you know why. He said he is hoping for a calm week, but we will just have to see if the second release candidate is actually like that. We should expect seven or eight release candidates before Linux 7.2 is released, so expect it around the end of August. If you missed it a few weeks ago, be sure to check out our coverage of Linux 7.1's release.
