You're not alone they cancelled my Collectors Ed of Dragon Age Origins yesterday too as I had no funds on my card, the game wasn't supposed to be out for another week so I was going to put the money in on Monday morning :(

I just checked my card account online and they tried to take the money on Thursday :(

i think at the moment its more of a precaution due to the postal strike and they try and process the orders asap to make sure that customers have their products by the release date. this weeks strikes are due to be friday and saturday so maybe thats why? not too sure though.

Tekken 6 ?34.73

Apparently Modern Warfare 2 is going to be ?26 instore in Sainsburys on Tuesday!

Annoyingly I only found this out after my copy had been dispatched from Shopto.

So I might be a scumbag on Tuesday and go and buy three copies to sell to Cex, to make up the diffence and a bit of profit. And grab a couple of bottle of JD that they have on offer for ?14 as well. lol

?30 at Morrisons and ?32 at Tesco too I believe.

apparently its 1 per customer..... so you'd have to go in 3 times :p

That's my plan, I have to get my mate a copy so I can only buy and sell 2 copies :( if he had money for his own copy then I could have sold another one :p

And would have actually made a profit. Hmph.

If you can't be arsed to go to one of the supermarkets tonight to pick up Modern Warfare 2, then pre-order it at Coolshop for ?26!

Thanks to Pheee for telling me about it, but I'm still gonna go and get it tonight.

EDIT: Hmm, I just tried the link I posted and it says product not found. Try this bit.ly link: http://bit.ly/e2BTl That one works fine for me, yet it links to the exact same page.

EDIT 2: Looks like the site is being hammered to hell, so you might face a long wait looking around there.

I'm still going to Sainsburys with my dad anyway. My brother's the one that wants the game, so we either get it tonight at one of the supermarkets, or he throws a massive tantrum even bigger than the time when FIFA 10 didn't show up on release day due to the postal strike! He's 16, BTW. :p

Yeah sites getting raped.

Got my order in though :shiftyninja:: Royal mail free delivery, I am skint:pp

It'll be worth it i've got my disguises all planned out, and a shaver handy to lose the beard for the second pop in. lol

To be honest it shouldn't be a problem, just go to three different tills! Worth it for the profit, the shopto one is deffo getting returned unopened for a refund, especially seeing as they told me on the phone earlier that they told UK Mail not to deliver till 2morra. When they asked why I said because I can get it for ?17 cheaper, and he said but we deliver on time on release day to your door. The guy was an idiot! Because yeah I'm really going to pay a premium of ?17 for that? go figure you moron!

^

The games stores are going to be up in arms again @ the Supermarkets.

Either way, I'm enjoying sticking it to IW/Activision for the god awful RRP (Yes I realise the irony in the fact I've still bought their game ).

    • Sorry I mean your back rest on your Herman, can you move the back say 2cm then lock it? Then realise 2cm isn’t enough and you want an extra 1cm then lock it into that position? Basically like in an older car seat, you turn the knob round until you get the back recline precisely where you want it, this is what I found the Herman wouldn’t do
    • WTF? I am not taking a video of myself to access a site or to create an account. What are they thinking? I don’t even have a webcam on my main desktop PC. The powers to be are really looking to normalize the taking of pics or submitting ID for everything. I afraid most people will end up just going along with it.
