Daylight Savings

Each year when the Daylight Savings comes along I get annoyed because my biological clock doesn't like it. :angry: Historically it was argued that it would provide more sunlight for the farmers, save energy, etc. I must confess, I envy those who live in towns that refuse to change.

In 5/6 months when we have 1 hour less in bed the poll results will be so different. Daylight saving is good. But better energy efficiency is not necessary true.

1 hour messes up your biological clock... you must not travel much.

if you cant adjust to one hour difference, sure hate it if you did travel some. i am overseas right now. i am 15 hours ahead of CST. depending on who you are, it can take a while to get used to. good thing is they dont care about DST here in s.korea. keeps the farm animals on a set schedule and what not i suppose. from what i have heard anyways. it really does not bother me either way.

We dont use DST here, PLUS!,

I think i saw that clock change over a week ago. And they changed the day it goes back one hour. AND!

I dont have ways to change that date. END!

it turns light to early in the morning and night to early at night....it was great before.

Daylight savings really makes no sense.

If people really want an extra hour of daylight in the "summer" evenings, they should get up and start heir days an hour earlier.

It makes even less sense now that we're not primarily an agrarian culture.

First week or two, I wake up at the "same time" (technically, one hour earlier).

Isn't it amazing how the government can control when we go to bed, and when we rise? ;)

Exatly theres no point to this...they say because it saves electricity with all the motorists and street lights in the morning because it turns day light faster.

but 5 pm almost everyone are out and about at night which uses more electricity than in the morning. and not having the f'in sun in my face at 7 am with my huge windows in my room would be great. and not f'in playing basketball outside after 5 pm with the streetlight in my face would be great too.
