Performance and Event Viewer

Recommended Posts

I have an Acer Aspire 5610Z laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium installed. With a dual core Pentium 1.73GHZ with 2 Gigs of RAM.

Looking through the book "Hacking Windows Vista" by Wiley, and got to the performance and what not.

Decided to look at the performance logs within windows and what I'm seeing is kind of disturbing, but at the same time confusing me.

In the event viewer, under the Diagnostics-Performance folder it has loads of critical and errors, but they all have to do with windows starting up, and windows shutting down or waking up.

Now is this normal to see this because it's a laptop or is there something wrong here?
