Terminator Salvation : The Future Begins

Recommended Posts

The psychiatrist has been the only actor in all three movies to date besides Arnold, wonder if he'll have a cameo again somewhere...

That's true, I didn't realise that.

Scirwode

There's nothing stopping them using either of their appearances (this film is set before even the T-800 series exists, aka Arnie) as the terminators have TWO declarations - series and model. Arnie is a T-800 series, model 101. The T-800 refers to it's design, it's strength, it's frame, it's processor, etc. whereas the 101 refers to what it looks like (hence model). So there could be a T-600 series, model 101 that's a T-600 that looks just like Arnie. A T-600, Model 102 would look completely different.

That's why Arnie looks the same in terminator 3, but has those weird fuel cells, it's a change in the design, but the model used is the same.

Or so the legend goes.

Well said, didn't think of that, that would also make up for Arnie being, lets say, less active lately :)

It would be wicked if Linda Hamilton were in the flashbacks, but she was really young then so it will have to be a murky flashback.

To be honest, i don't think 99.9% of films out there could ever compare to T2, it's genuinely one of THE best films ever made.

Totally true. It works so well as a big dumb action film that it's easy to neglect what a well made piece of cinema it actually is!

Christian Bale Meets Arnold Schwarzenegger

Terminator Salvation star Christian Bale (The Dark Knight) met up with Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger at the Brentwood Country Mart causing further speculation that the former "Terminator" series star may play some part in the McG-directed summmer 2009 film. Perhaps a cameo appearance or voice-over? You can watch two videos of the meeting below the pic.

Nice ass...but yeah he is passing down the torch!

^ Not exactly. Arnold is providing his voice for the movie. Even some rumors have pointed to digitally putting his face on the actor whose playing the T-800. They mentioned something about another James Cameron movie where he does that. A little insulting to the actor (although he does already look like Arnie) if that is their intention I hope its done right and doesn't look dumb.

New featurette with some new footage: ** Careful, some spoilers **

:o

This could be an awesome movie.

That is made of awesome!, I like the new Terminators!

James Cameron clarifying some things:

"There's been some discussion at AICN and elsewhere of me rescinding my so-called blessing of T4 and that's not the case. The truth is there never was a blessing to rescind, and there's been some kind of misunderstanding between me and McG, perfectly innocent I believe. He asked me in a phone call when I was shooting in New Zealand earlier this year if I would be a supporter and creative participant in the new film. I said sure, send me the script and I'll give you my thoughts. And I warned him that free advice is usually worth what you pay for it. For whatever reason I never got the script and to date I haven't seen a foot of film other than what everybody's seen in the trailer, which is not enough to form an opinion. So I have zero basis for supporting or dissing the film. As I said in an interview, for all I know it could be a masterpiece or it could be a big steaming pile. I think all people heard was the steaming pile part and concluded I was against the film, which I'm not. In fact, it might be very good, an opinion based solely on what Sam Worthington has shared with me. He's nobody's fool when it comes to material, and has absolutely the lowest bull**** quotient of anyone I know, and he has repeatedly told me that he reckons the film is going to be good. I know him to be very critical (in a healthy way) of his own work, and an actor who always aspires to excellence, so I know he wouldn't praise the film if he didn't feel it.

Obviously I can't give my blessing (whatever that means anyway ) to the film completely blind. But I'm predisposed to be supportive based on Sam's involvement and his judgment, because I believe in him. So there you have it. Let's all keep our fingers crossed that it's not a steaming pile.

    • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
