Terminator Salvation : The Future Begins

Possible Nudity (that will please Victor Rambo)

According to the director of Terminator: Salvation, Moon Bloodgood (who likely used a body double for What Just Happened?, filmed a topless scene for the film. Unfortunately, there is a question if the scene is going to be removed to get a R rating.

Today, during the WonderCon panel, McG mentioned having a topless scene of the film's lovely heroine Moon Bloodgood, who is being seen as a homage to Linda Hamilton's Sarah Connor, and in his usual flair of showmanship, he put it to the audience whether or not they want to see that scene in the movie. Needless to say, the mostly male audience enthusiastically chose the former.

After the panel, we asked McG directly about this issue, especially since just a few weeks back, we saw a lot of the cool toys that Playmates had come up with based on the movie that were clearly geared towards a younger audience. McG gave us the same speech about how he only cared about what Jeff Robinov wanted, then added, "We never once gave a thought to rating. Do you think Christian would go in and go, 'I need to tailor my performance to hit a rating.' He didn't want to do that, I didn't want to do that. We would never do that. Now having said that, should the film be PG-13? 'The Dark Knight' is PG-13 and I would regard that as made without compromise.".

A new Terminator: Salvation trailer just hit DIGG a little while ago. Goddamn, this movie looks epic.

~ THE NEW TRAILER ~

Check the last page ;) But yea it looks good. And I hope it gets it's R rating. Then again, killing robots doesn't exactly require blood or anything so PG13 would probably be ok too. I can't remember does PG mean no swearing? if so **** that lol how can you be running for your life and NOT swear.

McG Wants Robert Patrick for Terminator 5

It seems to me that all the excitement over both Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton

?s potential involvement in Terminator Salvation has gotten McG a little cameo crazy. The director tells FearNet that he has an idea to cast Robert Patrick, who played the T-1000 in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, in the potential sequel to Terminator Salvation.?I like the idea in a prospective next picture that you meet Robert Patrick the way he looks today, and he?s a scientist that?s working on improving cell replication so we can stay healthier and we can cure juvenile diabetes and all these things that once again sound like good ideas ? and once again live as an idealized expression of ourselves. So imagine seeing a sixty-year-old Robert Patrick and knowing, ?Holy ****! That?s gonna be the T-1000 ? who comes back perfect, lean and the whole thing.? I haven?t concluded that, but Robert and I had dinner the other night and talked about it.?alked about it.?

That would be amazing. The idea alone is a great one of having him develop the T-1000 based on himself whose aging. I'd love for him to play a role in the next one's. As an actor I think he'd like the role too, especially considering they aren't trying to using cgi to make him look younger. McG is making me very happy with his ideas for Terminator.

This new trailer is perhaps one of the best I have ever seen.

I think this is now my most anticipated film of 2009.

Major bonus points for the inclusion of "The Day The World Went Away" by NIN.

    • Threads scales past half a billion users, brings deeper community and feed controls by Fiza Ali Meta has announced Threads crossing a major milestone of 500 million monthly active users. And, at the heart of this growth sits something simple: communities. From books to basketball, parenting to music, Threads says its rise has been powered by people clustering around shared interests and, in turn, giving the platform its identity. In response, the platform is expanding its Communities feature beyond beta and introducing a set of new tools designed to make participation easier and more engaging. A redesigned Communities Hub will now appear in the main navigation menu, allowing users to jump between groups without leaving their feed. Each community will also receive a distinct Community Icon, giving them clearer visual identity and making them easier to recognise across the platform. Then there’s Community Progress, which is a kind of live gauge showing how close a topic is to becoming a full-fledged community, alongside guidance on how users can contribute to its development. In addition, Meta is also expanding its Community Champions programme, recognising more users who actively contribute to community engagement. And then things go more local; Local Communities is already available in 100 countries, including North America, South America, Asia, and Europe but are now rolling out with native-language tags starting in Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan. The platform is also expanding Live Chats to more communities in the coming weeks, adding features such as co-hosting and the ability to quote moments directly into users’ feeds. Beyond communities, Meta is tightening the loop between users and their feeds. Earlier this year came "Dear Algo," a feature that lets people tell Threads what they want more or less of. Now it’s being paired with a new tool, "Your Algo." It allows people to adjust how frequently certain topics appear, with options lasting one, three, or seven days. Meta says these preferences remain private and can be managed alongside “Dear Algo” in a unified settings hub. The rollout begins in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Finally, the company says these changes are part of an ongoing effort to refine Threads based on user feedback and that further updates will continue as the platform evolves.
