Help! My right eyebrow is twitching

Well, not really twitching. More like it's pumping like a heart. And is still going on this very moment. :laugh:

My uncle says it's because I'm not getting enough sleep.

Anyone know what's wrong with me? :p

Mostly tiresome work, late night studies & 5-6 hrs of sleep a night.

I get this a lot. It's def caused by stress and lack of rest. It's annoying, but will pass :yes:

Lack of sleep is a very good contender simply because eye strain is linked to fatigue and usually eye strain causes twitching in eyebrows or the eye muscle itself.

It could be stress, lack of sleep, or both. It's happened to me before. On my eyelid, my neck, even my leg. It'll go away soon. Don't worry about it.

its happend to me, the freakiest thing ever until i found out it was normal.

i realized it happened to me because i slept with my palm over my eye sleeping downward, which kind of caused pressure?

Thanks for clearing off my confusion, Rahul. I am always confused between the two sides. My parent's used to tell me all these things but too many beliefs to remember :p

Well, in addition to that, my right eye and eyebrow twitch a lot but nothing good happens to me =/ n ot that i know of.. probably happens unknowingly..but in addition to what everyone else has said - i could agree. Because I have bad sleeping habits and i stress over small things at times so yeah I will go with the majority! :)

Relax is my advice. Get some sleep and I will too.

It could be a potassium deficiency, eat a bannana and see if that helps. I have gotten this in my muscles, etc. before where they just pulse and tighten and loosen very fast and you cannot control it. Usually the only thing you can really do is just let it go away, usually in under a day or so and it will be gone.

Is your problem that you want your right eyebrow to stop twitching or you find it cool and wish your left eyebrow would do the same?
