Uunreal Tournament 3 cd key issue

Hello you guys,

I have UT3 Collector's Edition installed WITH latest patch 1.1

However, since the initial install - and with patch - I have the issue of re-entering my CD key plus re-entering my login and password (although I ticked on the boxes to save it) evert time I start and plat UT3.

This kinda annoying and I hoped this bug was fixed in this patch. Apparently not :(

Is this issue familiar? And is there some workaround and/or solving thing?

I noticed in your sig you are running Vista. This bug also happens on my Vista laptop as well. Annoying. This issue does not come up in my XP desktop.

Read this thread. One solution is to add '-nohomedir' to the end of your UT3 shortcut.

Well... i have a dual boot between Vista and XP, whereas I only use XP for gaming.

I'll try the '-nohomedir' and see if this also works in my case.

Thx for the tip! I will come to this later on (maybe today/tomorrow or so).
