I know anything is possible but Day 5 of Children of Earth seemed so final. As much as I love Capt. Jack and Gwen it might be time to move on and start over with Torchwood.

I actually agree but I think for people to carry on watching it has to have at least Capt Jack in some form, maybe investigating the other Torchwood stations.

I have to say this. I saw bits and pieces of Children of Earth over the past week or so but not the whole thing, and not all at once obviously. I just got done watching episode 5 (thanks BBC America On Demand!) and all I can say is, it would have been an absolute travesty if they didn't do a season 4 now in 2010. Each episode of season 3, all 5 of them (lol) were terrific. But taken together, all the episodes as one season (or whatever you wanna call it) I would argue it was some of the best TV I've ever seen. Period.

I love the fact that this is the Doctor Who universe, but it isn't all rosey and seen through rose colored glasses like on DW and SJA. Russel T. Davies is a freaking genius for writing this one up. And I'm soooo glad they are doing a full 4th season. But the question now is, how? lol

Oh and damn Jack. Your own grandson. Sucks man. Ianto :(

Torchwood - Planning Fourth Season

Torchwood might not have concluded its run at the end of the thrilling miniseries Children of Earth after all - Ianto?s tragic death not withstanding. The new year could bring some ?very good news? for fans of the sexy sci-fi series, creator Russell T. Davies tells TV Guide Magazine.

?The recession has hit British television, but fingers crossed, it will be a go. We expect things to start to move in January. We?ve got great ideas for the show. I think there?s a further lease on life for many years to come, but certainly for a [fourth season],? Davies says. John Barrowman is finishing his run in ?La Cage Aux Folles? in London, so there?s plenty of time to trade his feather boa for Captain Jack?s trench coat.

yeah I love the show, they do the dark tone of the show very well. The last season was definately the best. My favorite episode is during s1 when he went back in time to WW1 and meet Captain Jack. They still haven't answered what his real name is.

Woo Hoo! Cannot wait! It's a shame DT couldn't make a cameo in Torchwood. Would have been amazing to see him play the Doctor in a much grittier role!

Would have been very interesting indeed to see how the Doctor would have reacted to Jack and his method of dealing with the 456.

Urghgh i've been sitting on this for bloody ages and it's killing me so i will tell but people... promise to keep it here!

A certain welsh actor whose character may have been poisoned and killed in the last series (:ninja:) along with an American and a fit Welsh girl, have indeed already signed contract for a series 4....

shhhhh....

I only know this because my mate (who will remain nameless) has worked in the past on set and is engaged to said welsh males best mate

It's like here we say panties or underwear and you guys say "knickers" tee hee.

Think the fit Welsh girl will be wearing knickers?

This maintenance-focused release includes bug fixes, updated translations, and a range of safe enhancements. This release fixes a Windows security issue that could allow arbitrary file deletion during privileged cleaning (reported by Zeze with TeamT5). It also adds new cleaners (including a DNS cache cleaner, Claude Code, and Visual Studio Code forks), support for multiple Chrome and Edge profiles, new deep scan options for developer directories like node_modules and venv, and safer, faster file shredding. All Platforms Added cleaners for Claude Code, DNS cache, and many Visual Studio Code forks. Added support for multiple Chrome and Edge profiles. Chrome can now clean downloaded AI models. Deep Scan can optionally remove venv, __pycache__, node_modules, and .angular directories. Deep Scan is faster by skipping directories on the keep list. File shredding is safer, faster, and leaves fewer recoverable traces. Improved handling of cookies, symlinks, Unicode filenames, external processes, and configuration files. Improved Expert Mode warnings and long warning dialogs. Fixed crashes related to cleaner detection, invalid Unicode, and malformed cleaner data. Clipboard is now cleared automatically after shredding files via paste operations. Linux Added AppImage support. Fixed startup crashes when Python Requests is unavailable. Windows Fixed a security vulnerability that could allow arbitrary file deletion when cleaning with elevated privileges. Added %WindowsSystem% variable support. Improved clipboard clearing using native Windows APIs. Improved installer experience on unsupported Windows versions. Reduced installer size and improved application robustness. Fixed Unicode handling, filename anonymization, Git revision reporting, and splash screen stability. • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
