Last.fm for Linux

I just opened up an account with last.fm. I was able to install it with Windows flawlessly. But, I would like to install it on my Linux box as well. It is running Xubuntu. How do you install it?

I don't use last.fm so have not installed. I will have a look for you tomorrow.

Ok, you may want to try:

It is made for Ubuntu, I expect it will work with XUbuntu. Just use it as you would a .exe in windows. Linux should ask you for a few prompts but nothing much.

If that doesn't work, download the tarball (using the "Download Now" button). Extract the directory. Then you will probably need to go to the terminal, locate the directory and type "./configure".

I am not in Linux atm so I can't check this. I will try and post back tomorrow if you are still stuck.

You can also access last.fm from amarok.

bmpx works smoothly for lastfm :)

If you are in gnome, rhythmbox has a plugin for last.fm as well.
