Very beautiful workstation!

You need some speakers mate. (I find it comical that Apple is notorious for iTunes and I rarely find speakers with Apple setups {probly can't aford them after the expensive Apple hardware :p})

or they're hidden :p

I think he was being sarcastic, u might want to clean ur area a little.

by the way I had 2 of the same monitor u have, Dell 19" with the sony trinitron tube, gr8 monitors but heavy

~X

Clean my area? That is the best it has looked in months. Cleaned it just for the pic! man, its like you all thinks desks were made just so that you can look at the big empty spaces! The purpose of desks are to put things on!

And yes, they are dang heavy. dual 23" lcd's coming my way as soon as I can afford them. Need more desk real-estate both virtual and physical.

I think his area is fine...Just needs to vaccum the floor a little...(or a lot)

Well, actually it is vacuumed. The floor here is not a floor. We are remodeling so all the floors are gone. Down to the floor stuff below everything.

I was joking.. compared to the cool 3 lcd screens people are posting here..

but hey... I'm not posting my Workstation for a reason.. :p

so we're in the same boat mate. (although i own a nice Lcd.. :) )

Well, you are a hypocrite are you not :p gosh! :D

AND a mac freak to boot! :o man

or they're hidden :p

Or not even on his desk? I dont have any speakers on my desk. only headphones. My speakers are part of the house stero system as I am hooked up to the TV. I use that whan I play games.

My speakers look just like these

They are like 5ft tall! Fit that on your desk :p

Your awesome at Signature creating. Good enough not to say anything about the workstation.

Well if that's where Sacrificial does all his design work then it's truly a good setup. It's nice to have the latest kit but there is another side to all this, getting work done on it. My laptop is over 4 years old. It still works fine for what I do.

When it dies and I get a new one, I'll post it here lol

Creativity knows no limits. The pc is a good pc and the only thing that is stock on it is the case. P4 3.0 w/3gb ram and a x1300 (atm :p).

The monitor is bigger (screen size) then most of theirs anyway, at 21" with a res of 2048x1536. Lets see your lcd's do that! Just cuZ its a crt dont mean its no good.

Don't let run over you sir, a PC is a PC, if it suit you, you are correct, Money isn't growing in the threes anyway.

As for the monitor, I was using the same (until it blow of in Oct 2006 :( ) Trinitron 21" (Tough mine was an IBM)

Well, this is my sceond one. These things dont last forever. And goodness knows that money dont grow on trees, and when one decided not to go into debt that pretty much rules out a new pc every year like some people. Thanks ;) and I love your setup btw!

    • Thanks for liking it! 😊 That's Arch Linux with Gnome.
    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • It won't perform hugely better than the 3080 unless you're VRAM limited in games. Have you tried putting new thermal pads on them 3080 and giving it a good clean to see if you can regain your temps and overclock?
