Wireless Keyboard Delay Issues :@

Does anyone here have a Logitech Cordless Wave keyboard?

My one has a delay from when I press the keys to when they pop up on the screen. This is especially noticeable while I'm touch typing, such as now. I didn't read any reviews which mentioned this, anyone have a similar problem to mine? Any solutions?

did you try to update the associated software? The Setpoint drivers.

Yep. No difference. Even tried it without the drivers.

I just got myself a logitech easycall keyboard/mouse and I also get keyboard delays. Well, it's only noticeable when I'm typing fast.

The middle click button is also annoying as I end up hitting the middle-left and middle-right instead of "middle-middle". I might end up returning these things...

I was having the exact same problem with my MX3200. I have a bus-powered 2.5" USB hard drive sitting on the desk. Coming back from lunch today I decided to Faraday-cage it in the metal desk drawer, and so far, no problems.

I'd definitely check to see what unshielded cables are nearby. It seems some wireless peripherals are super-sensitive to EMI.

It is definetly a win 7 issue. I have the dinovo logitech keyboard that works perfect in vista and soon as I switch over to win 7 it acts up.

It is a bluetooth keyboard and I tried setpoint 4.8 without sucess!! It drives me frickin crazy!! When you go to type... nothing happens then you pound on the keys about ten times then it starts typing. It does this every time, when the signal is initiated then it types without problem but it is getting that intialization that drives me nuts. Imagine everytime you go to type a web address or anything else you have to hit the keys ten frickin times! Yeah Steve Ballmer this is ready for prime time!!

I hate bluetooth keyboards because of the "wake" lag or power saving feature of Bluetooth, thats why I returned my mx5000 combo immediately after I bought it

I'm using a cordless Logitech Wave keyboard with a Revolution MX mouse (I threw away the Wave mouse) and there is no lag with typing

I started getting some issues with the mouse and connectivity, so I am using the little USB extension cable they provided, but there was never lag or issues with the keyboard.

In fact, I consider it the one of the best keyboards I ever had. I considered trying out the new Logi G19, but since it didnt have the Wave type key arch - I decided not to get one.
