Internet Explorer 7 - Frequent Crash and Hangup :(

This problem has been occurring rather frequently and is now driving me nuts. Every now and then, and when I have about 5/6 tabs open in IE 7 (7.0.5730.11), IE either crashes or simply hangs.... Is there anything that I can do to permanently fix this problem. I have windows XP SP2 with all the latest updates till now.

Will be very very thankful if you can help me get out of this misery.

Did you ever tried another browser? what about firefox? if you only like ie7 then try to re-install.

What are your system specs, mainly how much RAM do you have? How many other apps do you have open at the same time? Need a little more info please.

Hi all. Thanks for your replies. I have 2 GB RAM... Just gathered a tip from another forum and have disabled all add-ins and will monitor the behavior for a few days. I do hope that this will put an end to my misery :)

If it is stable without addins, try enabling them one by one or in small groups. That way you can find the culprit. There might be an update for it.
