J.J. Abrams' Star Trek

Hmm... Interesting. I thought this movie was the start of a new universe, but maybe Spock's and Nero's trip back wipes out or makes major changes to the existing universe?

According to a recent review of the screening, that's exactly what happens. After Romulus is destroyed, Nero and his crew go back to get revenge on Spock, I'm not sure if Spock goes back after them, or they follow them, but he goes back in the Jellyfish apparently. Nero going into the past screws the timeline up BADLY, whiping out everything.

Could you please put speculation about the movies premise in spoiler tags please, this movie isnt out yet and you just spoilt it for me.

One could argue what im doing coming into the movie thread if i didnt want it spoilt but i didnt expect people to be openly talking about spoilers.

Yeah I agree until the movie is out for a few weeks put stuff in tags :)

Although I won't apologize due to the fact that it was information based on the comic book, not the movie, but what are the spoiler tags so I can keep you from raising your blood pressure from misdirected frustration.

They would be spoiler in [] tags and then close with [/]

so it turns out like this

[spoilerr] without the added r of course and then [/spoilerr]

Considering the comic book is a prequel to the film which most people who are going to see this film will not read im pretty sure they will recap some of this stuff in the film so yeah it is spoilers wether its a comic book or the movie.

I Like the modern approach they have to the Enterprise, however those Nacelles are horrid. Seriously. If anything the Nacelle design just ruins the overall look.

I don't think it scaled correctly. In pictures the Nacelles don't look so large compared to the rest of the ship.

Well if you didn't notice by my signature I happen to like Enterprise.

I liked Enterprise, The Original Series and the Next Generation. I Thought that DS9 was a stretch but was alright but I couldnt stand to watch Voyager and even after the series went back to double check myself and give it another try but again didnt like it (just didnt feel like a "star trek")

As for the movies it would have been nice to have some more Next Gen ones combined with the DS9 and or Voyager than this but I am sure the movie will my need for Trek

    • Forza Horizon 6 gets another hotfix for one of the game's online modes by Taras Buria Recently, Forza Horizon 6 players discovered an interesting glitch that allowed farming a crazy amount of in-game credits in a few minutes. Playground Games quickly pulled the plug on the exploit by disabling one of the game's online modes, and today, the studio is rolling out another hotfix. In my review, I complained about the game still showering gamers with cars, credits, and wheelspins. As such, earning money in Forza Horizon 6 is not a particularly difficult task. You simply have to play the game, crazy, I know. However, people still found an easier path to becoming a billionaire in Forza Horizon 6. All you had to do was purchase the Hummer EV, install a specific tune, shift in reverse while going at about 15 MPH, hit a wall, and get launched into the stratosphere at the speed of light. While mid-air, launch Eliminator and quickly get eliminated. Boom, the game just awarded you with a few million in-game credits. Initially, Playground Games disabled Eliminator to prevent people from farming credits. Now, following the release of the first balancing update, developers are rolling out a new update that re-enables Eliminator and gives users a free McLaren Sabre as a gesture of goodwill. Here is the changelog: One critical issue remains unpatched, though. There are quite a few reports of the game wiping gamers' saves, and developers are still looking into that. To avoid potential data loss, Playground Games recommends taking one of the steps outlined in a previously published support article.
