Preppy Veteran Posted January 24, 2008 Veteran Share Posted January 24, 2008 Is getb.dll or hostie.dll on your system? You probably want to turn off Add-ons. =\ Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/615619-ie7-crash/#findComment-589159785 Share on other sites

Preppy Veteran Posted January 25, 2008 Veteran Share Posted January 25, 2008 Even if IE is broken, you can go to Control Panel: Show All Items : Internet Options : Programs : Manage Add-ons to look at that. It's unlikely that you have no add-ons at all. Do the two files I named exist on your system or not? Preppy Veteran Posted January 26, 2008 Veteran Share Posted January 26, 2008 So get and install the Windows Debugging Tools, crash, and you'll get a fault bucket. Put that up on a site like rapidshare or yousendit. Post the URL. Or heck, just list the call stack from that crash. That should actually be pretty illuminative. leesmithg
I started suffering from crashes with I.E. I eventually found out it was the Epson toolbar named web-to-page. Uninstalled it and not one crash since. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/615619-ie7-crash/#findComment-589202977 Share on other sites
