Ubuntu 8.04 Theme Mockup

This is my first attempt at a more streamline Ubuntu UI whilst still maintaining the original color scheme.

If you could give me any commets or advice that would be great!

I've only tried Ubuntu a couple of times, but kind of liked it, even though it was on the live cd. Maybe it's just me, but it just feels a little weird having the system tray and icons on the right side instead of the left. Seems too "mac-ish" for me. It does look nice though :)

I really, really like that notification bubble. Any idea what a window would look like yet? I like where this is going ;)

Working on that atm! I've got a few ideas but im going to keep playing around until i reach somethingi like that is both simplistic and attractive.

The Ubuntu logo buttton looks kinds wierd with that color in the menu bar but not bad at all :)

Very nice. I like it a lot. I haven't really been keeping up to date with Hardy, but I thought the idea was to get away from brown and go with orange and black instead?

I'm not a GNOME fan, but this theme is sweet. The color combination is great.

The only -thumbsdown- is for Ubuntu logo. It's somehow "lost" :)

Ooh, that's nice. Some elements (such as taskbar [if it's even called that in Linux, heck if I know]) are done in ways that I haven't seen previously in a skin. I like this a lot.
