how to change the menu bar to look like this (PIC)

I could be wrong but isnt that Gnome, which is a different OS....

The icons look similar to tango patcher if ur looking for that old school icon set

gnome isnt an OS its a user environment for linux

Right click on the bar and click Add To Panel and from the dialog that pops up, select Main Menu. Menu Bar is the default one with Applications, Places, and System. Main Menu puts those all into one menu with a single icon (default theme has it as a foot, Ubuntu has it as their icon).
