Alice('s Adventures) in Wonderland (2010)

If it is 3D, all you're going to have to put up with his Depp's voice. I think he'd do a great job at that. He was awesome in Corpse Bride.

I really have Grown my Respect for Johnny Depp now... ever since Jack Sparrow, he is really something!

there are rumours that sarah michelle gellar will be playing alice in American McGee's Alice

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0466663/

this , of course , wouldn't be a disney movie

also imdb updates the year every year, so that doesn't seem likely to ever be released

Depp in Sweeney Todd was genius.

Amen to that  I love Sweeney Todd!

"There's a hole in the world like a great black pit, and it's filled with people who are filled of ****, and the vermin of the world inhabit it, and it goes by the name of 'London.'"

 I love that song!

Yeah I have that soundtrack its awesome!

@ the Locked Alice thread, it isn't the same movie!

But seeing as there has been no updates since 2005 I doubt its gonna happen now...if it does then a new thread can be opened or it can be reopened.

@ the Locked Alice thread, it isn't the same movie!

Yeah I PMed the mod who locked it, I don't think he knows, he just saw Alice and figured it was the same.

The other thread though, that movie is never going to get made. But we can discuss that one there when he reopens it.

Yeah, it was suppose to be dark like that (called American McGee's Alice). They had some molds of what Alice would look like, she was pretty hot in the leather and everything :p

I think you're thinking of The Wizard of Oz that Todd McFarlane was going to do.

Mia Wasikowska is in final talks to take the lead role in Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The Disney film, Burton's adaptation of Lewis Carroll's fantasy novel, will be filmed using a combination of live-action and motion-capture footage and presented in Disney Digital 3-D.

The Lion King writer Linda Woolverton will pen the script with Richard Zanuck, Joe Roth and Jennifer and Suzanne Todd acting as producers.

Wasikowska, who started her career on the Australian series All Saints, can next be seen opposite Daniel Craig in the war film Defiance.

Lindsay Lohan had previously been courting the lead role in the Alice remake.

A rumour has been circulating very rapidly around the internet that Johnny Depp is set to team up with Tim Burton for a seventh time, playing The Mad Hatter in Burton's take on Alice In Wonderland.

Is the rumour true? Well, it's certainly not confirmed, but we heard talk of it not so long ago at Pinewood Studios, where the film is set to shoot (the UK facility has become a favourite of Burton, who also shot Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Sweeney Todd there) which leads us to believe it's very probable. Also, it's a Burton film so would a Depp cameo be particularly surprising? We must stress again that this is not definite and Disney could not confirm it. So just consider this highly likely and keep your fingers crossed that it happens.

A few sites have expressed reservations, saying that the role would be too close to Willy Wonka. Seriously? This is Johnny Depp, the man who can play infinite shades of mental, so we have no doubt that his take on the barking mad tea-lover would be a unique and beautiful snowflake. Sounds like perfect casting to us, so what do you think?

Sorry but the whole Alice in Wonderland Story sucked (N) :/

:omg: Oh no you didn't!

:p

I love Alice in Wonderland. And it is better to drop some acid while watching this film, no doubt about that. I'm sure the writer (Lewis Carroll) was doing some kind of drug when he wrote the story.

    • Microsoft's fast coding model MAI-Code-1-Flash comes to Copilot Business and Enterprise by Karthik Mudaliar Microsoft’s recently announced MAI-Code-1-Flash model is now generally available to GitHub Copilot Business and Copilot Enterprise customers. With this support, organizations can have more centralized policy controls and billing while finally being able to use Microsoft’s lightweight, first-party coding model. According to GitHub’s announcement, Business and Enterprise plan administrators must enable the MAI-Code-1-Flash policy in Copilot settings before developers can access the model. Microsoft says that MAI-Code-1-Flash is for fast, iterative coding work rather than the most demanding architectural or debugging tasks. GitHub’s official model comparison page says that the model is great for "general-purpose coding and writing," while it excels at fast, accurate code completions and explanations Microsoft introduced MAI-Code-1-Flash on June 2 as part of a broader collection of internally developed MAI models. GitHub subsequently expanded support to Copilot CLI, the Copilot cloud agent, GitHub.com chat, GitHub Mobile, Visual Studio, JetBrains IDEs, Eclipse, and Xcode, but said support for managed Business and Enterprise customers was still on the way. In Microsoft’s own benchmark testing, MAI-Code-1-Flash scored 51.2% on SWE-Bench Pro, compared with 35.2% for Anthropic’s Claude Haiku 4.5. Microsoft also claimed that the model used up to 60% fewer tokens on SWE-Bench Verified. Do note that these are vendor-run results rather than independent measurements. The model is billed at provider list pricing under GitHub’s usage-based system. GitHub currently lists MAI-Code-1-Flash at $0.75 per million input tokens, $0.075 per million cached input tokens, and $4.50 per million output tokens. For organizations, the main incentive to use MAI-Code-1-Flash is likely to be efficiency rather than maximum capability. A smaller model that responds quickly and limits unnecessary output is quite useful for repetitive agent tasks at scale, especially after GitHub Copilot’s move toward usage-based billing. The "Flash" model is recommended for fast work and not necessarily for huge repositories with loads of context. It's better if teams compare their output with other larger models, especially if they're working on security-sensitive changes and complex, multi-file work.
    • yes AND no the "original" or plain/normal Optiplex 7010 won't be getting any more new firmware updates BUT the Optiplex SFF/SFF Plus {small form factor}, Micro/Micro Plus & Tower/Tower Plus 7010 editions DO get new updates such as this new one   and here are similar guides from the Dell web site for Dell systems: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000390990/secure-boot-transition-faq https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000347876/microsoft-2011-secure-boot-certificate-expiration
