What is your perfect Subway?

Recommended Posts

Can't really eat Subway any more as I have some sort of problem eating bread - tends to make me unwell. But when i'm happy to be ill, or when I *used* to eat Subway I loved a footlong Italian BMT - on hearty italian, with cheese, untoasted, with all the salad except cucumber, and a nice dollop of south west sauce.

That or the Sweet Onion Chicken Teryaki - same setup but with sweet onion sauce of course!

Sub time, when I walk into Subway Im normally thinking " hmmm whats a good looking sandwich up on the board" then I look at the breads " hmm what bread looks the best" then followed up by the smell of whats cooking in the Subway store. My Subs normally consist of these features.

Length: Footlong ova corse

Bread: Italian herbs and cheese... I think thats what it is called anyway

Meat: Depends really on the mood im in. But at the moment im going through the faze were its all about the ' Pork Ribblet' or 'Italian BMT'

Toasted: No. I just like a soft sandwich, makes it more easy to eat

Cheese: Yes!! I love cheese  ... I get Smoked cheese on mine.

Salad: Yes. I get lettuce, capsicum, cucumber, olives.

Sauce: My sauce range varies depending on what type of Sub im getting, normally though I would get Mao, chillie, and Barbecue.

Again for the side orders ( the drink and the cookie ) depends how I feel but I would get a Coke Zero for the drink followed by a Chocolate chip cookie :p . Well that concludes my perfect sub.

* Now all this talking about Subway is making me want to get something to eat *

None :/ Whenever I have a sub from Subway it leaves a tart chemical taste at the end... I prefer fresh tasting ingredients.... not chemically preserved ones...

Same here.

That's because there's really not much that's actually fresh at subway. Other than the vegetables.

The meat is pre-cooked, the bread is just the same and the sauces are full of preservatives.

Pretentious fast food disguised as health food.

Length: Footlong

Bread: Italian Herb & Cheese

Meat: BMT (double meat if I'm feeling peckish)

Toasted: Yes

Cheese: Double layer

Salad: Lettuce, peppers and onions

Sauce: Southwest & a sprinkle of pepper

I'm usually there a couple times a week.

Almost the same for me;

Length: Footlong

Bread: Italian or Parmesano Oregano

Meat: Italian BMT or Subway Club (double meat sometimes)

Toasted: Yes

Cheese: Single layer

Salad: Lettuce, olives and sometimes cucumber

Sauce: Southwest & a Salt and Pepper and Mayonese

I also usually get a drink with it (sprite) or if I have snapple at home then I just have that. I always get 2 cookies with it whenever I am taking it home. 1 cookie if I eat it there and then.

Crazysah

12" White (Or more XD)

Steak Classic

No Cheese

No Toasted

Lettuce

Tomatoes

LOT LOT of red onions

LOT Salt/Peeper

2 Pass BBQ

1 Pass Red Hot

I eat just this since I know about Subway.

Nothing else interest me anyway :D

Buffalo Chicken, swiss cheese, bacon, lettuce, carrots, and red peppers on top of a green wrap - top them all with BBQ sauce! YUM!

Ack! Don't you guys have a local hoagie shop? ;)

IMO, Subway's footlong is overpriced (I can get a 12 incher for around $3 at my local hoagie shop). I'll take it over McDonald's any day though. I'll take pretty much anything as long as it has meat, cheese, and hot peppers.
