Ive ZiT'ed atleast 20 songs but Socialclub only shows 3 ZiTs :(

SAme for you guys?

AFAIK, you have to be logged into the PSN for the ZiT to work properly.

For some people, you actually have to log out of the PSN to play the game.

For me, there's usually an error about 5 mins. into playing that disconnects me from the PSN. So none of my ZiT's work.

BUT: Just ZiT the song, remember it, look it up in the GTA guide that lists all the songs, then go download it from iTunes, Amazon MP3, or your favorite b*******t site.

Just realized if you get 100% by tuesday you could get a "key to the city". I'm like 12% away goign to be playing this non-stop for the rest of the night and tommorow to finish it out.

I have the 360 version. I'm not all that far into it, always getting side tracked doing other things, like shooting people in the face with a shotgun, but so far the game is great. The pop-in in fine, the only thing that?s really a little disappointing is the graphics look so jagged.

But a small price to pay for near gaming perfection.

I watched my bro's roommate play for a while the other day before playing for the first time myself and it was loads of fun. There was an especially amusing moment (and I wouldn't be surprised if this has come up in here already) where my bro's roommate got out in front of a car so it stopped, shot the guy inside it and the guy died with his foot on the wheel, running over my friend, and then continuing forward until the dead driver hit a wall. It was hilarious to see.

It took a week to get here, but I finally got my Best Buy copy that I pre-ordered months ago.

If there were words I could describe this game with, I would be using them right now. I'm not even playing it on an HD tv and I am stunned. Is there anyway for the camera (while in the car) to do a better job following or does everybody find themselves using the right stick (Xbox 360) to help the camera along?

I just joined the Rockstar Social Club too!

i seem to use the right stick to help it along so I can see what is in front of me. If i don't it is like driving from the perspective of your trunk ahah.

Yea, its kind of hard getting used to it. That and my hand seems to be awkwardly placed on RB, right trigger, and the right stick. :p

In the 20 minutes I got to play tonight (my first), I drove a Hummer and monster trucked a car! The damage modeling was awesome!

I'm talking about the camera not following the car you mentioned. Was just pointing out there might be an option for it in the Options menu, i just saw some settings concerning the camera.

Thanks, I will poke around in there tomorrow since I have this week off from school (I graduate on Saturday). I am kind of disappointed I didn't have time to play (only about 30 minutes) because I had to spend all day trying to fix my brother's computer here

i have GTA IV .. love it .. 360 all tha way lol.. aye..

how do you get that key to the city .. and how do you prove you finished it .. 100% ?

help me out here.

Join up on the socialclub, I linked above, and after you activate you can link your GT/PSN.

Found something sweet.

When you get a motorcycle (specifically the sportbike), you can actually wear off the tire! Hold the brake and throttle down at the same time and burn the rubber for a few moments, you'll see the tire start to wear then to eventually just metal rim. How sick is that! Great detail.

My biggest complaints about GTA4 so far (PS3) are:

The camera angles when driving - the cars seem to take up a lot of space on the screen and generally block your view of what's in front of you. Not helped with all the hills in Libery City!

Cars seem to weigh nothing and will flip over at the slightest nudge! They have next to no grip either.

Far too many cops around.

If you look down a street then up the street then back down the street, the cars you saw before have disappeared and changed into different cars. WTF? Needs more persistance.

You can do it with cars too. It's fun to get a big 4x4, shoot out the tires then drive the car til the tyres come off :p

You do know you can change view right, there's one angle where you are pretty far away from the car.

Of course I know about changing views. I'm not an idiot :p but the longer view doesn't help all that much.

I get by by pushing the R-stick up to give me a better angle over the top of the vehicle.

It still happens but not as bas as previous games. Lets say you see a nice car that goes by you at a different direction and you try to turn around and chase it to snag it, most times you will never find it as it disappears...

That's odd, I haven't had that problem yet. What platform are you playing it on?

That's pretty cool... but what good is the "key to the city" if you already beat the game? Doesn't that mean you essentially unlocked everything already? Or is that an Achievement you're talking about? lol

Also, where do you look for your exact completion percentage?

I've also never run into this before in fact I can let them drive for a good half mile catch up and still jack it so this I think is individual to him.

Perhaps it is a memory issue of the PS3 vs 360?

    • I can answer about the Linux bit. I only used AMD GPUs. I currently have a 9060XT (8GB) that fits my needs, I'm not a gamer, so I don't need that much GDDR. But lately, NVIDIA has grown a lot in the recent years. Oh, the horrors of NVIDIA drivers not working. But they have been getting better. I know a lot of members onm here that are running cachyOS and other distros, and are fine with a 4090/5090 variants. Really, though, I would stick with AMD variants.
