Currently using adminmagic and having trouble with it talking to some of the computers on the domain. looking for something silent, maybe even just a standalone exe would be nice. any input is greatly appreciated. thank you.

Huge fan of VNC, use it for my home network of 2 pc's lol because I'm lazy and have used it flawlessly in a environment with several hundred users :)

Further on the VNC comment, imo get ULTRA VNC (there are a few other variantions)

I use ULTRAVNC, cause it lets you authenticate based on DOMAIN security groups like Domain Admins + has encryption.

Other variations have similar features, but ULTRA seemed to work well enough for me.

Even further on the VNC.. I have always liked TightVNC.

VNC is probably as lite as you will get. Dameware is probably more robust, we use Dameware in the gov.
